Oh my goodness the grits! They are so good. Reminded me of my childhood when my grandmother would make them for me. I got the omelette and biscuits also which were really good and packed with bacon and sausage. My daughter loved her pancakes and it was very affordable!! Highly recommend for breakfast!!
I was visiting San Antonio and went to this spot for Sunday brunch. The food was absolutely amazing. Brunch is cafeteria buffet style with an option for endless mimosas. There was also a live band with great song selection. It did get pretty busy, but the service was still outstanding.

Ox Tails. Me "This is just pot roast" also me "WRONG"...Was amazing. Fried Chicken: Me "Fried Chicken is fried chicken" also me "I don't know what they marinate or brine this chicken in but it's the juciest chicken I think I've ever had."... The catfish was probably the thing I was looking forward to the most, which was delicious but I actually enjoyed the other dishes better....All the sides are great. Collard greens macaroni and cheese fried okra. My wife loved the fried cabbage... There is nothing I had that wasn't great.... Server was also great...Thanks Andrea. Very helpful

My fiance and I are both from near the Louisiana border and we could never find food in San Antonio that was anything like back home. Tony G's definitely fit the bill. We both got fried chicken with black-eyed peas, collard greens, fried cabbage, Mac and cheese and corn bread. Everything was amazing. Fried chicken had the perfect flavor and crunch. Most everything was seasoned well. Usually when you find fried cabbage it's over cooked but this was perfect with a bit of a crunch. The cornbread was the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Our server Sunny was also amazing. She knew exactly when to come to the table, and she kept us stocked despite being busy. It's definitely worth the 30 minute drive to come back and eat here for our soul food fix.

First time ordering and also first time going against the reviews for pictures
It looked good on google but on the Grubhub app the reviews say bland and etc not so good ratings
The combo I chose said catfish over grits and breakfast fried potatoes and biscuits or toast not exact wording but you can look at the menu. so when I placed my order it gave the option of grits OR potatoes so I chose potatoes and ordered grits separately presentation was ok despite those old looking potatoes and the cheese didn’t blend it was like oil and water mixed it just didn’t and wouldn’t
as far as taste none whatsoever! I added salt and pepper hot sauce
Hey wasted $17 trying to contribute to BOB. I wanted to leave my feed back because my first impression was not good at all and I placed my order at 10:50 regardless if you’re not going to deliver great food then just say no more breakfast I would’ve ordered lunch.and don’t get me started on that biscuit so I guess go in person so you can turn the food down and not have it delivered and can’t do anything about it thanks.

Went to Tony G's today and it did not disappoint. It's buffet style but everything is so flavorful. The smoked turkey was amazing and so was the cobbler. It had fresh peaches. They also have bottomless mimosas in lots of different flavors. Their bloody Mary was great too. The live music and atmosphere was nice. There were lots of people laughing and having a good time. We will be back.

First this place was full of love you could just tell as soon as you walked in. Led us to our table and talked to us about the Sunday buffet and bottomless mimosa. After ordering our drink we were free to eat breakfast or lunch or both which I did as we listened to live music and were able to catch the Texans lose again. The jazz band played classics and also took recommendations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the vibes were just right especially for an African American. It felt like I was at a family gathering. Grandmas , grandpas , aunty with their Sunday best happy and eating till their heart’s content. The food was delicious, the chicken and waffles were perfect and the grits was just right. The potatoes were well seasoned, the bacon just the right amount of crispy and the mimosas were delicious. The peach mimosas was really strong, after the first glass i was definitely feeling that. Maybe because I was dehydrated from the day before at six flags but after 3 glasses I was done for the day! This place is definitely a place to go with your friends or family or a date for a birthday, anniversary, or just for a day out. You’ll leave with a smile.

This place made my list for top restaurants to eat at!! The food was amazing, everything I had tasted so flavorful and it just made me so happy. I went on a Sunday so they had a buffet style brunch. During my dining they had a band preforming which took the experience to another level. The drinks came out so fast, full open bar and each worker that I came in contact with ..from the food line the waiters, were nothing but nice and welcoming. The place deserves 10 stars. ⭐
