Service was kind of slow but I was impressed by the live music. Prices are decent and the crowd are hipsters but younger.

Awesome first experience here about a year ago, but pretty lackluster experience last week. First time we were here we had two male bartenders that were so excited and inspired by the cocktails they made and the food they had to offer on the menu. We were excited to return but maybe picked an off night. Had a female bartender this time that seemed to just "tend bar", and the door to the back kitchen was kept open, flooding a huge amount of unappealing florescent light into the bar and into anyone's face sitting at the end. We actually came with appetites and arrived shortly after 8pm, however when we tried to order food, we were told the kitchen was closed (not the door though anyway). We asked what time they stopped serving food so we'd know better next time, and they said usually 9 but not that night. Awhile later, two patrons at the end of the bar who either worked there on other nights or knew the staff well, received food from the back that looked and smelled delicious. A little disappointing for us to say the least. Jury is still out but hoping if we give this place another try that it's more like our first experience and nothing like our second.

Tucker’s is your good ole neighborhood bar, albeit an almost iconic neighborhood bar. The food is good, the service is great, the ambiance is cool and the beer is COLD. The food prices are a little on the high side (but in this day and age the prices are high on everything, everywhere). Will definitely be back.
Food – 4/5
Price – 4/5
Service – 5/5
Ambiance – 4/5

Cool little spot that looked like you could really have a great time. Had the catfish and it was some of the best catfish I’ve ever had. Mac&cheese was super creamy and okra was made just right. Live music was going when we showed up. Two bars one inside and one out. The bartender served us. She was very nice and cute.

This is a very quaint little bar with a nice size patio in the back. Inside reminds me of someone's basement very homey took me back to my childhood. The drinks are well priced starting at $6 for delicious cocktails. Their food menu looked really good but I did not get to try it.

Tucker’s is a long time establishment full of history from the east side of town. Though the establishment has changed ownership a few times it is now under the Steve Mahoney ownership which includes other great establishments in SA including Fransis Bogside my favorite Neiborhood Irish bar/ restaurant.

Tucker’s is doing an excellent job during this pandemic with good sanitation measures. Come by for delicious brunch and tasty bar food like the wings and egg rolls then enjoy true handcrafted cocktails by the awesome staff.

This place is not what they make it out to be. The fries are nasty(dry) taste like they were made two days ago and they just warmed them up. The burger was ok once they cooked the meat some. Save your money and go to Burger King unless you just want to drink and listen to ole school music. Wait staff were nice. They didn't have over half the stuff on menu.

The customer service was good and I have no complaints there, but the food was hyped up in the past reviews. The wings were fried up perfectly and that's why this place has any stars at all. $7.00 for a jack and coke. Gosh, let's change it from $ to $$. I chose this spot for a birthday meal. Like...I could have picked anywhere in San Antonio, but I wanted waffles and fried chicken and unfortunately that's a Saturday&Sunday kind of brunch thing only. We settled for wings, spicy chicken sandwich, and a Patty Melt. The cheese on the patty melt could kill a starving possum. I have no idea what that gunk was. All I could say was yuck it tasted how it looked, that says alot. French fries were too crispy.. almost hard, house ketchup was good, the chicken sandwich was sloppy loppy. The bread was soaked and the sandwich fell apart instantly. It was a hot mess. Eat inside if you can with the ..yes...loud music....cuz outside is swarming in flies. If you do come here.....I would say come here...late night for beers and the hemisphere tower view .....only while you wait for an uber.....because for some reason.... your car broke down on this street.

A brunch venue that lives up to its "kozy" name. The 70s funk DJ sets the ambience for a chill get together with friends. Our waiter was personable and just downright amazing!! Mimosa service is unbeatable at $10 for a bottle of champagne and a jug of OJ. The food though, is what really sets this place apart. Although the menu is slightly limited, you will not be disappointed with the offerings. Everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be back!!
