I was surprised with a birthday party at this hook and reel. I was aggravated at first that people were insistent on having my birthday dinner at the hook and reel. Hell I even made reservations somewhere else because who wants to have a birthday at hook and reel? But I was wrong. This place was amazing, the food was good, the drinks were phenomenal and the DJ was superb. I even ran through the restaurant with about 30 people when the DJ played follow the leader. I definitely recommend this place on a Friday night. Just amazing!!!

I ordered shrimp and garlic. First the garlic was big and chunky! I've never seen any thing like that. I couldn't even enjoy my dinner. They could have at least grated the garlic. On top of that the food was way too salty. What was the worst for me was that they give you plastic fork to eat with- and not the sturdy ones! So a big heavy ceramic plate with spaghetti and a flimsy plastic fork! I was appalled! I could barely scoop up the spaghetti without getting my hands dirty because of the flimsy plastic fork. This is not a good place to sit down for any special occasion. The fries and shrimp that my friends ordered wasn't bad though. To add more, whilst eating, someone was sweeping the floors right next to us! Lol....Here I was well dressed for my anniversary and bam!! So beware guys! Good for a regular grab and go kind of thing. Not for a special event, celebratory gathering.

Food I ordered was good, ate every bite, I got the seasoned garlic snow crab legs large catch, with hard boil egggs and I got it spicy. I enjoyed it a lot. Only thing I didn’t like was the water it tasted funny. Sweet potato fries yummy, mozzarella sticks could’ve been hotter but they was still good.

Food was great and service was exceptional. Wasn’t a fan of the cheese bites. The lemonade was 7/10. The boil we got level spicy & it was delicious. Will definitely go for the boil again & they have great deals.

The chefs in this place are not right. I came because I love soups in hook and reel restaurants and they bring me expired soup, after I ask to change it and they bring that white soup than the flavor was just like cream and not like a real soup. Disappointed and my housband get the Long Island drink with extra alcohol and it wasn’t hard and also the cup was dirty… mmm I guess they manager need to check the services at this place…

First time visit. The food was really good, the drinks were on point, and the service was good as well. The waiter was nice and friendly. My daughter loved the crunchy shrimps from the kids menu. Will visit again.

Great location
Great food that is perfectly seasoned and excellent value.
We were hooked (pun intended) from the first visit!
Definitely recommend to all seafood lovers and we will be regulars.
Lobster Bisque is one of our favorites and you can’t go wrong with any of the boils!

Our server kayla was very nice and helpful. Amazing service. Quiet for the time of day which was perfect. The manager kadesha ( not sure of the spelling) came over introduced herself and when I explained I was hoping for a fish bowl, made a drink that was absolutely amazing. She had a great personality and made the experience a great one. My friend and I cant wait for our next visit. Thank you both to the manager and waitress for making our day an enjoyable experience.

Such tasty foods and servers seems nice. Their seafood was so full of flavour and my groupies all enjoyed. My choice of drink “creamsicle” was absolutely light and delicious. Ambiance seems well and not very overcrowded. I do recommend here you guys. For the Canadians, it is exactly like Captain Boil. Do try here!

Hook & Reel did it for me!!! Being a first time experience I was amazed at all the decor. Very open space to enjoy your seafood boil crave, or just some pasta and seafood. The drinks were tasty and did its do, and most importantly the food taste delicious and fresh. We were greeted with a smile and seated quickly. Our server check back on us several times being careful not to over do the check back. Chris the manager was very warm and welcoming. Solid 4.5 ⭐️. You will enjoy your experience.
