I like their food. Seems fresh. Tamale was chocked full of meal. My taco was ground beef & shell was thin but tasted fine. Sauces are alittle weak.

This place is not your typical Mexican restaurant by far the best Authentic Stuff I’ve ever had in Phoenix!! If you come while the Chicken Mole is available is a Bomb Chicken Mole!! Oh and the Tamales amazing! Trust me I was a Chef for 21 years and this place is a must Go!!!! Thanks to the great service and family oriented service!

Great Mexican food, I been coming here for over 25+ years, you can tell it's all homemade and not from any cans. Homemade flour tortillas, green and red chili the best just like mom use to make...I always recommend this place to friends and family.

The prices are still very reasonable, but since the pandemic the quality of the food has fallen off a cliff. It now just tastes like many other lower-end Mexican restaurants in the valley. It's depressing, because it used to be my favorite place. On the plus side, it was practically empty when I tried it again a few days ago. I'll probably never go back, though.

First time at El Bravo and last time. I ordered a chicken chilmi combo
The chicken was dry.and very.little taste! The beans had a bad taste like some kind of fragrance...I'm not sure if it was the cheese or what! You are charged $1.50 for chips and salsa, 1st Mexican restaurant to be charged for chips and.salsa (1st bowl)! This place is very expensive and not good, very dissatisfied!

Superb authentic food and kind and friendly staff. This place has been here for years- watch out for the cinnamon crisp cookies- served with your check at the end-they are decadent & addictive ????the salsa, enchiladas, Chile rellenos are all delicious!

Sweet mother of Pearl what a tasty Mexican restaurant. And not very pricey. We had tacos, Carne Asada and beef, chicken chimichangas, everything was great and finished.

The service was great, but the item I ordered was not very good. I was the only patron at the time I ordered, so it wasn't busy. Still, the burrito I ordered was made with a very under cooked tortilla. It had a strange, doughy texture. Considering that I was the only customer, and the manager(owner?) brought the plate out, I can only assume that this is the normal type of tortilla they serve.
