Hot dang now I see why this place has so many reviews! I wasn’t expecting much and I think I’ve fallen in love. I’ve tried so many of the BBQ selection in AZ and it has left my Louisiana heart wanting more. Hog Wild is such a blessing from within the dark BBQ tunnel. I found a new favorite!

Ordered a 3 meat plate for pick up. Arrived back home to find out I only received 2 out of the 3 meats. Pulled pork and hit link tasted good. Mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box, baked beans tasted like bushs. Texas “toast” wasn’t very toasted. Overall I’d say the meat is a 4/5 sides are a 3/5. Would’ve gave 4 stars but was missing part of my plate so 3 stars.

Not as good as Texas BBQ, but the ribs were good. Keep in mind, only the best BBQ joints in Texas can consistently beat a home smoked brisket. We take our brisket seriously in Texas. I would have been bittersweet shocked if it were even comparable. And, while I should know better than to expect anything similar when traveling to other states, I keep trying with an open mind (I know some states take their BBQ seriously, too). Dantro helped us at the counter and he was awesome. He was a fan of nearly all of their meats (as a team member should be). We tried several meats at his recommendation. The brisket was better seasoned than most Texas BBQ joints (which generally seem to leave their brisket unseasoned and let you salt to taste), but was pretty dry, especially for my taste, but I think dry for anyone's taste. The hot links had good flavor, but the texture was strange (almost fibrous - not soft and didn't give way easily after you bit through the casing). The ribs had a sweet sauce and came off the bone easily. They were certainly our favorite. I would recommend the ribs if you have any expectations.

Was on this side of town and decided to try it. So glad we did! I got the smoked turkey and beef brisket, hubby got pulled pork and ribs. It was all amazing - and we're very particular about our BBQ. Everyone was super friendly and so nice. Wish it was closer to us in Surprise, but will definitely make it a point to come back!

Everything looked absolutely amazing. It was very delicious except the BBQ brisket. It had a old dry been in the fridge a few days taste. They said it was made the same day but im a chef and as someone who avidly smokes meat i could tell the meat either wasn't stored properly before cooking or after. Wasnt a big deal. The manager offered to replace it with something else but we was ok. Good service.

The Drive-Thru experience was great, ordered a regular Carolina Pulled Pork definitely the best with some BQQ sauce on the side with a baked potato and an apple cobbler for dessert, was the best food/dessert. Will be going back soon!

This is the way bbq joints are supposed to be! Huge selection, good food, smiling laid back staff, cozy seating, and prices that allow you to try everything. I took the staff's advice on selection and got more awesome bbq than I've had in years, and for only $20! Glad this place is off the main strip so it can actually be enjoyed rather than wait an hour in line for cattle car food like in downtown scottsdale. I'll be back here for sure. Just really want to stress how jovial the staff are, not sure if they are co-owners or what but EVERYONE working looked professional and cared deeply about both the food and the customers.

First time trying their food and Overall I love the baked beans and French fries the most. French fries are my fav and baked beans. I tried the Mac & Cheese, but it was cold and didn't tasted homemade, wouldn't get again but the other sides I would.
The ribs and pulled chicken was ok, lacked flavor from what I'm use to back on the east coast and down south, but not too bad. The ribs were a little too crispy for my liking. The BBQ sauce is really good too
Great portions and the prices are very reasonable as well! I definitely will be back for the French fries and beans lol????????????

I walked in this morning right as the door opened. The guys working behind the counter where friendly and great personality.
When I order I don't usually order like everyone else I like to have two nice items.
I ordered the Carolina pulled pork sandwich large and two pork ribs with green beans.
They pulled pork sandwich had great texture with a nice toasted bun and some coleslaw. I put some barbecue sauce on it it had a nice sweetness to it. The two ribs had lots of meat and literally fell off the bone. Great flavor so juicy.
The watermelon iced tea is always a favorite of mine. These guys work hard on their barbecue and it's awesome every time.
