Definitely not the m&m I remember from king Blvd. Maybe under new management. Definitely not soul food. Was not tasty. My 10 year old would eat yams out the can, he didn’t even want the yams. Dressing tasted like it was frozen too long then reheated. $65 never again. Disappointed because I couldn’t wait to get home n eff this food up. Corn bread was good. Red beans was pretty good. But. Their customer service, definitely on point. They were nice and patient and professional.

This breakfast was the bomb 1 fried Catfish , 2 Chicken Wings, Grits, Eggs , 2 Biscuits . The food was served hot and the grits was nice and creamy. Wow I forgot how delicious this food was that Pandemic stopped changed all our dining habits. The waitress was excellent ????

Delicious having catfish and grits for breakfast. The only sad part is they ran out of biscuits by 10am. Next time I'm ordering ahead???? Porkchops tasted like how grandpa made them.

Ordered liver and onions today. Got home and found burnt liver covered in gravy. I know the cook new the liver was burnt when they covered it in gravy. Very disappointed. The cornbread was also disappointing.

First time going to m&M's soul food. The food was real good. I would recommend ordering ahead. The first time I went I got the catfish nuggets which were good. The next time I got the fried chicken entree which is really what I wanted the first time. It didn't disappoint. Yummy

My 85yo Mother is very selective about her Soul Food, especially because she was a great cook in her day, raising 5 Children as a single mother in Los Angeles she taught us the importance of treasured family recipes from our birthplace of Greenwood, Mississippi. Her comments were as follows. The smothered chicken wings were tender and meaty, with the right amount of flavor and gravy. The Greens were well prepared, and the cornbread was fresh, and tasty as well. The yams were just sweet enough, and although she was too full to enjoy her Cobbler, she appreciated the surprise because their Cobbler is free for seniors +65 years old. I am very happy that she is happy, because Mom is a very picky eater. I ordered ahead, and my good was ready before I arrived in 18 minutes, so I highly recommend this location of M&M Soul Food in Carson. CA.

*I am from the South! This means I ate soul food for dinner 6 out 7 nights a week! So this is a valid review!
The smell soon as you walk into this restaurant sets you up! Everything smells so good you want to order the entire menu! The girls in the front are so polite the encouraged me to go ahead a indulge! Lol
My mistake was taking my food to go! It smelled so good I almost could not focus on the road! For that reason the corn bread did not arrive that’s why it isn’t pictured! I promise you are silly not try this spot! I wish I lived closer I’d eat her 7 nights a week and spend my entire check here!! Lol

I’m not a complainer but this was a awful experience. I Placed my order online receive a text that my order was ready I still had to wait after being told the order was ready and additional 40 minutes when I get home my order was wrongThis is very disappointing. I ordered turkey wings and dressing I asked for my gravy to be put on the side they smothered the turkey wings in gravy and I didn’t get my dressing they just through my food together
I have heart issues so I’ve got to be very cautious on how I eat. Oh!!! My red beans was suppose to have rice they didn’t.

First off, I must say the morning customer service was excellent! They have a very versatile staff which I absolutely loved! Secondly, I ordered the red snapper breakfast with scrambled eggs, home style potatoes and biscuits. This has been the best breakfast I’ve tasted since my grandmother passed. Was a little disappointed because I had a taste for shrimp and grits (they don’t have) but my snapper definitely made me happy all over again! Will definitely be back!!!

I had the BBQ pork ribs with three sides. Rice and gravy which was very bland, collard greens, and candied yams. Our server brought us our food but no silverware. We asked for some but she said they are all dirty and in dishwasher now. So we waited about 5 minutes while our food got cold. We asked for at least a plastic fork so she did bring us that. Eventually we got a real fork. I asked for ice water but never received it. We also requested some cornbread which we never received until we were loading our go boxes. The collard greens were tuff and bland. But the candied yams were delicious. It was busy but I would think they would be used to that. It was very chaotic and we had very poor service. And definitely overpriced. Four of us ate with no dessert and it was $95. I ????????
