First time at a Korean BBQ. There were seven of us and it was a great experience overall. The food was delicious, our hosts were attentive, and the price was reasonable for the amount we got.

Food was delicious. Service was good. Price was affordable for the food we received. Beef tongue was delicious. Pork belly, too.
Waiting time was 45 minutes on Saturday for lunch.
There’s valet parking.
♿️ accessible.
This is a really good restaurant. I’ll be back.

Amazing place for bbq which is also popular among Koreans. There was supposed to be a 30 minute wait but we got in within 5 minutes. The appetisers are good esp the kimchi and sweet potatoes. The marinated beef ribs were so tender with rich flavour. The best items are the intestinal combo with tripe, intestinal and the stomach. My personal preference is the seafood stew—>tripe—> beef rib—> stomach—>intestinal ( the last one is just too greasy but it should pair well with rice and kimchi). Service is good and the valet is also very affordable. Will definitely visit again.

Did we come here because of bangtan? Yes! Wild story though because Bi Rain came the same night and posted a picture on his story and we were in it!
Anyway, this is definitely a great kbbq spot and also really great service! We really enjoyed our time and the food on this random Tuesday that we went a couple of months ago. Highly recommend!!

Jungkook's recommended Korean BBQ? How could I not give it a try? This place has been growing popularity like crazy because of BTS, so be wise about what time you come to dine in. I arrived at 11:20 AM on a Sunday and there wasn't a wait!
We ordered the Beef Combo for 2: Brisket, Beef Tongue, and Marinated Boneless Short Ribs.
+ Brisket: EXCELLENT. I highly recommend eating it with the perilla leaves or mul kimchi. Cooked quickly and stayed juicy resting atop bean sprouts. Much smarter than letting it overcook on the sides of the grill.
+ Beef Tongue: It wasn't sliced as thinly as I hoped, so it was quite chewy. We were chewing each piece for quite a while. It was still very juicy and flavorful though. This was a bigger portion of meat compared to the brisket and short ribs.
+ Marinated Boneless Short Ribs: Yum! A bit on the sweeter side, but the marinade wasn't overbearing, so the meat flavor still shined through. Very good quality. The ribs were quite fatty and pretty tender.

The last time I visited LA was like 6 years ago, we said to ourselves, that when we came back, we must come to Aghassi again. The sign has changed, but the food has not. The BBQ meat has remained exactly the same. Our server Alan was excellent, he came by consistently to make sure everything was going well.

What’s not to like about this place? Menu is not complicated - it’s all about the MEAT. The gopchang is sublime as is the beef brisket and pork jowl. The kimchi stew is extremely flavorful without being salty. The cold noodles were also very delicious and had great texture. Plus they play BTS nonstop!

Ahgassi gopchang is good, but on the pricier side. I’ve been here before with my SO and got standard meats the first time and it was good. We had the standard bulgogi and meats before.
My so wanted intestines this time and it really wasn’t for me. The tripe and small intestines were too chewy for my liking (plus I have old man teeth) the large intestine was wayyyy too fatty and heavy.
I do love eating the side dishes from here. My favorite is the yam in syrup. Wish I could order that off the menu, lol.
The soon tubu was ok, but if you want soon tubu you may as well go to BCD Tofu house.

Highly recommended. Well balance between food quality and service. Typically K bbq is either great food but service is sucks.

This place is not ayce but it has high quality meats at a reasonable price. They specialize in the offal meats such as large beef intestines (delicious) among others. The short ribs and skirt steak were some of the best I’ve had as was the kimchi stew!
