Great mom and pop mini restaurant. An absolute hidden gem! The food is incredible! Lots of hot food varieties. My go-to place when I'm in the area highly recommended.

Loved this place! The reviews led me here, and they were all true. Cute little hole-in-the-wall with absolutely wonderful service, really tasty food that seems to be constantly changing, at a great price. Between my husband and my plates we had chicken, meatloaf, some kind of spicy braised pork (I think ???? idk exactly but it was delicious), a sope, heaps of a really tasty cucumber salad, and really good tortillas, plus a couple drinks for $26. I'm such an indecisive person, so getting to eat so many different things for such a reasonable price was amazing!

Very good service. Generous serving of coffee. Hearty breakfast food. Highly recommended! And perk… only before 8 AM, unlike many of the coffee shops near by!

I just finished eating here and I feel like I visited my grandmother.
The food was really good. But the service was the best. I was observing the interactions while I was eating. The costumers were treated like a guest at home, most of them were regular clients because the employees knew the name of most of them.
I had a chile relleno, chicken in mushroom sauce, beans and rice. Everything was homemade style and delicious. I definitely will be back.
This is a small, clean restaurant.
The food is buffet style and additionally you can order from the kitchen.
Definitely it’s a hidden gem in downtown LA. I wouldn’t have enter here only by the façade. I read the reviews and I decided to give it a try which I am glad I did.

This place is amazing. I feel that it is a one of a kind place that makes you feel welcome and has a home feel. Staff is very friendly and kind. I think it will probably be featured on the tv food shows one day.

The restaurant is clean and well kept. The servers are very attentive and check on the customers often. Our group of 4 ordered four different dishes (2 chicken and 2 lamb) and were able to share with each other easily!

A huge plate of fabulous food for a low price. Ticks all the boxes. Everyone working seemed genuinely happy to be there, and it created a very nice and homely atmosphere.

No frills. Good local spot for breakfast and lunch. Buffet style. Only a couple blocks north of Staples Center.

Found another one of LA's hidden gems... Open Monday through Friday 6 a.m. and have a buffet-style breakfast... a nice variety of Latin American goodies including pupusas, black beans, chorizo and eggs and the everyday staple of rice... LOL... You got to check it out the prices are reasonable I think it's a $ sign not $$... Owner Rodel is a very nice guy... Two thumbs up

Few blocks from the LA Convention Center. Amazing food for a solid price. Staff is super friendly. Screw the convention Center food, eat here instead!
