Service was immediate, food came out of the kitchen 20 min after we walked through the front door. Best pasta I've had in recent memory. The waiters were personal, polite, amd professional. If I didn't live so far, I'd come once a week.

This is a popular restaurant with families, couples, locals, tourists... Nice atmosphere, not too noisy and the menu has (great) pizza, (good) pasta, sandwiches, main courses, salads, a bit of everything. Sweets are delicious and beautiful. Good for groups or for dinner alone.

Fun decor, quiet and intimate setting with great emphasis on genuine Italian fare. Healthy focus on desserts make you order with spare room in the stomach in mind. The prosciutto salad with candied fig walnut and blue cheese is a great appetizer or start with caprese salad. The caprese is served with crisp basil slightly sharper in flavor than most restaurants. For a main course, opt for Italian originals like the papardelle and beef or lamb ragu. The fruit tart for the custard lover or the tiramisu for more bold flavors bring your evening meal to a sweet close.

This place is amazing!! Amazing service and food. The waiter William did an exceptional job and was very attentive and sweet to our table. He deserves a raise, best server I’ve had during my trip to LA. Will definitely go back for both the food and service.

I haven’t had good Italian food in four years since I left the East Coast! It was delicious! Service was excellent too. Authentic! I’m only sad I had no room for the cannolis! My garciofe salad was perfect. The cheese bread crust was divine and the chicken ravioli was to die for. Portions were large and price was reasonable!

My sister and I were visiting LA for my birthday. Because of COVID, nearly everything near our hotel closed pretty early. On our last night, we wanted to dine somewhere nice. I did a Google search and found Amante was a 5 minute ride from our hotel. We called ahead and they informed us they were closing the kitchen soon. They asked if we could be there by 9:15 PM. It was around 8:45 PM so we rushed to get ready and got there just in time. Thank goodness we called ahead and told them we were coming. The hostess pulled a few strings and held our table for us. Our server, William, was one of the nicest waiters I think I ever had. He was so sweet and let us take our time exploring the food and drink menus. He even recommended different wine options. The peach moscato was to die for! I immediately searched to see if we had it on the East Coast.
William brought out fresh baked bread and asked if we were locals or visiting. We informed him we were visiting and it was our last night in LA. He made us feel extremely welcomed, asked what sights we saw, and suggested a few, in between checking on our order. I had the fusillonni with salmon and zucchini. My sister ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and shrimp. Our food was absolutely delicious!!! William provided impeccable service. He was courteous and extremely attentive. I wish we'd had a chance to visit sooner or come again, but Amante will definitely be on our list when we return to LA. Hat's off to the chef for the delicious food and to William for providing a stupendous dining experience on our last night in LA.

Amante Restaurant is an amazing place. The food is consistently 5 star. We really enjoy dining at this establishment. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We have been here often enough to watch their newbies grow and become excellent customer service providers. Amante never appears to be busy, though we only enjoy dining during weekend lunch hours. I have been told that they have a very busy online ordering schedule to maintain. The dishes are bountiful in portions and you will always have extra for later. I have noticed on several occasions folks speaking Italian to the staff. I absolutely love that. Parking can be an issue. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. It truly is one of the best.

A family-style Italian place. Our host was quite friendly and helpful; there was a long menu - based on what we ordered the food’s at about the passing score. The burrata had its pleasant taste, so was the steak not bad. The beef skewers were the single disaster - hardly could I expect anything drier and stiffer served in a restaurant. The mushroom ravioli was one of the specialty here and was worth considering to order (the caveat is that it was a bit too greasy, plus too soft not sure if due to being cooked too early). Lastly, the creme brûlée could be much improved if sugar was added less generously.
