This little GEM is just the most amazing authentic cuban & Central American you can get in the valley. The grilled meats are incredible, the tamales are SO GOOD, and the owner is the sweetest man on earth. I’ve been coming here for years and they do not disappoint. It doesn’t even feel like a restaurant, it feels like you’re coming into your family home and enjoying an amazing meal made with love. Truly delicious ! 10/10

The food was really good but the lady who attends the online orders was very rude and unpolite,did not ask the right question at the time of the pickup and I don't know if was on purpose but my order was missing one of the items,I couldn't enjoy my dinner properly because of the argument.Very bad experience with this lady.I don't think will ever comeback to this location.

The woman making the food sneezed all over the prep table and food trays. I am talking a full blown sneeze; she didn't even cover her mouth/nose. We immediately canceled our order after that.

Best place to eat in Van Nuys, hands down. We go here monthly to get a 1/2 chicken, some BBQ ribs and empanadas. Always tender, juicy and great flavor.
Great food, generous portions and a good price! We always compare other restaurants to here and they never measure up.

Let me tell you this chicken puts pollo loco in second place. Loved how juicy this chicken is. I got the half chicken, you get a choice between yellow rice or white rice. Brown beans or black beans. Service was great. Parking was a little difficult so just be ready for that bit of a walk.

we were invited by our beloved neighbor to this one place we have never been to. the name is ay papa que rico it is a very interesting place on van nuys blvd in van nuys You should check it out they have great tamales must try with the salsa they give you. if you have one youll want another one believe me.
You serve your own soda. your own coffee also try the empanadas and the quesadillas. they have all kind of food cuban mexican salvadorian
had lots of fun they lady that serves you is very funny they place is one of a kind. CHECK IT OUT! SEE PIC OF the delicious tamal i had. actually i had 2 delicious. next time im there ill try the grilled chicken

Delicious grilled chicken yellow rice and black beans been coming here for years their menu has a variety of stuff ribs ,torta Cubana also have bakery for your sweet tooth needs

Best chicken ever. The people that work here are the salt of the earth, super friendly and get treated like family. Also the best chicken ever, smoked but very juicy still. Amazing.

Just passing by this place and you just know that the grilled food here is on point. I had the 1/2 chicken plate that came with yellow rice, beans ( pinto or black ) grilled onions and a big green pepper charred. I got a side of plaintains. Perfecto! The two day marinaded chicken grilled to juicy perfection. I chased it down with a bottle of Coke and I was good to go.
