This is by far the best bar in Hollywood, hands down. I’ve met some of my favorite people there. the drinks are always fantastic, the bartenders are always kind, talented and quick. The view is incredible, you can see all of the best clubs in town from the rooftop. The staff there are super friendly and I’ve become friends with a few.
They’re strict about their lobby policy but I understand they have protocol and agree with their policies. The music is very good and I always have an incredible time at their establishment.

As a resident of the hotel Thompson where this bar is, I made a reservation for the evening time for 4 people at the bar. Upon arrival while being seated, the host said I would not be allowed enter in denim shorts and that male customers would not be allowed enter unless in trousers. Their sign says smart casual wear, which is what I was wearing with a polo shirt. The situation was not handled correctly and I would advise against visiting due to discrimination and incorrect handling of clothing policies for males

Such a hoppin spot. I came on a Tuesday night without knowing much about the spot but I was blown away when we made it inside to a swanky vibe of mixologists and jazz music playing. The views from the rooftop outdoors into the city are beautiful. The inside is rife with comfortable seating and space. As the night went on it turned into a party of musicians blowing the roof off. It’s a fantastic time of good drinks (pricy but good) and great music.

2 stars because I was sitting at the bar eating and drinking and the all of a sudden I had to give up my bar seat because apparently they remove the chairs at a certain time (8:24pm?) in the bar area. So, how you (host/ bartenders, etc.) going to invite me to eat and drink at your bar and then come around and take away the seating? Rude? Someone should’ve said something in advance ????????♂️! Idk maybe I wouldn’t have ordered food.

An excellent vibe. Came here on a Tuesday looking for something to do near Hollywood. Would highly recommend! 4/5 only because the service was a bit slow but the vibes made up for it.

This is nice upscale restaurant/bar with amazing views of Hollywood sign. Pricing is hight but I had the best views, drink and ricotta honey with toasted bread appetizer! I will be back and their waitress was awesome! One of the best customer service when I visited Saturday night. I felt very welcomed!

I came by for the NFT LA afterparty and, oh my, what a lovely bar. So glad I checked it out on the first evening of my little LA holiday. I'll come by again. The bullish cocktail with tequila and lavender they made was delicious and so were the hors d'oeuvre they offered during the event.

Cool vibe and decent drinks. I wouldn’t recommend any of the food I ate here. It was just disappointing. My barstool was wobbling the whole time and I couldn’t get comfortable. I felt so uncomfortably close to the people on a date next to me that I just wanted to leave. Valet parking for convenience.

This is pretty cool. I went for jazz night and was impressed with the venue, Beautiful city views, friendly staff and cool crowd. I had the burger and salmon dip which were both very tasty! I do have two complaints; 1st the music is way too loud and I'm not just saying that because I'm old, its literally deafening, my ears were ringing for hours after I left and couldn't hold a decent convo. 2nd takes WAY too long to get a drink, I stood by the bar for at least 15 mins each time. But other than that a lot of fun.

The Bar Lis reminds me the French Riviera. Beautiful, yet exquisite and tasteful. Everything is about the details and the overall atmosphere. Thank you Sarah for making this moment such a beautiful experience. We love it!
