Accidentally came here looking for a different spot. Not disappointed. Tasty dim sum. I tried har gow, shao mai, and a baked and steamed bun. Lots of other dim and food choices.

We had Dim Sum on a Sunday at 9:30am. We were seated immediately. We received our dim sum very quickly. We enjoyed the the the large baked bbq pork buns the most. Freshly made still warm and the buns were soft. Not the best dim sum but good enough.

The Dim Sum at CBS Seafood is the best in the area. We stop by and have a dim sum lunch every time we are in the area and we are never disappointed.

Cbs offers the typical Dim Sum menu and get this they even use a cart. It’s been a while since I’ve had dim sum but I absolutely love love it! Their menu is on the smaller side which I can appreciate!
Side story…..
Last year, I was in Hawaii visiting family, my cousin told me that 7-eleven added lop Cheung Bao which translates to Chinese Sausage Buns, it’s an old school treat that one seldom sees anymore. The buns are made with fluffy steamed all-purpose Chinese bun dough with a delicious sweet, savory, salty link of cured Chinese sausage.
I knew I had to get these in my belly right away. The first bite was heaven the sweet and salty combination with the somewhat greasy sausage that was soaked up by the dough was superb! On that trip I must’ve stopped at 7-eleven 5x..
Anyways, I was so happy to see that CBS carries these!! They also have a take-out side that sells dim sum for much cheaper because your not sitting inside with a white table cloth setting and enjoying tea. But now I know I will definitely have to come back for these and of course the shumai and they even have noodles for a good price.

A very good place to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine from the mandarin side... they will bring the food cart to your table for you to choose your dish.. they have tender pork ribs in black bean sauce, dim sum, shrimp with walnuts and you can also order a la carte... the hot is indispensable...reasonable prices... enjoy it my dear friends

PreCovid it's my go to for Dim Sum in Chinatown. But now, I get it to go. All the usual suspects are good here, har how, sui mai, et al. Prices have risen considerably but worth it as a once in awhile treat.

I don't believe I have anything bad to say about CBS Seafood Restaurant. Visiting Los Angeles and thought this would be the perfect place to go. The price per items were very good compared to other places I have visited in my home town. I ordered (2) Steamed BBQ Pork Buns, Egg Rolls, Orange Chicken, Shrimp and Leek Dumplings, Beef Noodle, and Fried Shrimp Rolls. ALL the food that was ordered is delicious.
The services was fast. Staff members were very kind and friends. Food was hot and fresh. I have provided pictures of most of the items I ordered. If anyone is in the area, would recommend stopping here. Great food at great prices.

Great dim sum place in downtown LA. Service was fast and food was hot and steamy. We ordered a little too much for two people but it was worth it :) They have a menu to order from but also traditional push carts.

Went here today. Service was slow Requested chili sauce but did not arrive. Requested for oranges and fortune cookies but waiter said only for families. But our group has 5 people. We ordered worth $69 and they denied our request. I gave 1 star for this experience. We have been eating here before but i cannot make a pass on this experience hence 1 star. I'm not even so sure if they made the correct bill for all our orders.

This place has a large sit-down restaurant for dinning in and a small take-out are for getting food to go. My favorite is the steamed BBQ bun. But you can't go wrong with anything from their large selection of food. The staff is nice too. They helped me order even though there was a language barrier.
For parking, there's a large self parking lot right next to this place that charges around $5.
Have fun!
