THE FAJITAS! The fajitas baby!! Wow, that sizzling smoking flavor. Great portions, great taste, but the best ambience. I love places like this that capture such a distinct sense of setting. It’s like you teleport to another country in Koreatown. My waitress was also super friendly.

I knew this place from many years and the food is delicious and the employee who take care us was professional and for first time on many year I feel like someone non disrespect us and he was so friendly they serve the food fast and in good temperature

My favorite Mexican Restaurant. My family and I have been going for over 40 years. This was my grandfathers fav restaurant and it's special to my family. I wish I remembered our severs name bc this time she was great. Made our late fathers day lunch very special.

Delicious coconut margarita! I ordered the filet mignon tacos. They were just okay. The chips and salsa are on point. So are the nachos with melted cheese! Their tortilla soup is good too.

We choose this restaurant to celebrate a few family members birthdays this year. Such a cute restaurant. It gave good dining family atmosphere vibes. Put drinks were delightful! They have flavored margarita which were pretty tasty. The food was good as well.

Added my favorite dish. The carne asada plate ???? to this review update also, insert 6th star. You can taste the fresh ingredients. So delicious! I've gone again so soon. I had a classic margarita. Strong and delicious.

I only give four stars because there was a long wait and it was cold sitting on the “patio.” The history of the food was exciting and it was yummy. The margaritas were pretty good. Nice aquarium behind the bar.

Still as delicious as I remember it from a decade ago ???? courteous and quick service and loved seeing everyone around me enjoying their meals as well! Had the enchiladas suizas, highly recommended and a tasty flan for dessert! If you're interested in drinking, can't go wrong with their blended margaritas!! So good! ????

TLDR. Classic Mexican food (Alta California style) in the historic surroundings of the original LA family restaurant.
Seating is in close booths in individual rooms which is classic style but not ideal during a pandemic. Ask for some distance if it's not crowded.
The food is very tasty and not spicy (probably because of the clientele) and there's something for everyone and in all price ranges.
You can't go wrong with fajitas or the traditional combination plates. Plenty of food for large appetites or just take the leftovers.
Parking is $7.50 valet.
