This place has not changed in years, it’s a good hole in the wall Mexican food restaurant. The best thing about this location is that they hand make their tortillas. The menudo here, which is a Mexican stew, is one of the best in town. The chilaquiles here also amazing, the beans and rice they accompany the entree have that home made taste. I have never been disappointed with the food here, however the location has very few seats and parking can be tough to find. I see most people pick up their orders and take them home. It’s cash only, but they do accept credit cards.

Now,this is a real Mexican food. Better than Chiplote restaurant. And the service is really good. One of the few(or only) good Mexican restaurant at Hollywood area.

Catchy music, hopping atmosphere, friendly staff and a gorgeous hostess who looks like she climbed off the cover of Vogue.
We ordered the classics taste menu. The price was reasonable compared with other restaurants. The ingredients were common & ordinary, and didn't stand out.

I was with my partner and we got a lot of food- it was good and fun. The food was refreshingly good, the red chili braised pork and the green chili maybe the best we've ever had. Some delicious for carrot cake for dessert and a glass pear almond limeade with gin and wine to go with a course. The meal blew us away. Reasonably priced as well for such great quality.

I've been looking for a place to get Mexican combination plates in the Hollywood area, this is IT! The food is delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I made the mistake of not realizing it's cash only, but they let me take the food home and just asked that I return the next day to pay. I definitely went back the same day. How generous of the owner

This place was so amazing! I’m not from California so this was a great place for authentic Mexican food. The food was absolutely top notch and would recommend to anybody!! The staff was also very friendly and helped you with whatever you needed. If you want an authentic Mexican restaurant, YOU MUST EAT HERE!!!

Best Mexican food I've had in ages.
Everything was fresh and delicious, including great tortillas. However, there's no restroom available, so if ya gotta go, get the food to go as well.
