Definitely an awesome dinner experience at Fogo in Los Angeles (800 S Figueroa). The meats were very well prepare / cooked. Plenty of choices at the salad bar and they come to the table with a lot of drink options, and dessert was fabulous.
Super friendly staff. We were frequently (but not overwhelmed) checked on, to ensure our dining experience is the best.
Military discount is available, just ask.

I made a reservation and specified that it was for my husband’s birthday and need dessert with candles as I saw in the reviews they always do it all the time.
They had plenty of empty tables but they just made all people sit around the salad bar and it was really crowded and so loud and noisy that I couldn’t even hear what my husband was saying.
My husband went to the bathroom so I took the chance to call our waiter to double check about the dessert and candles and she said sure no problem.
We started with the salad bar which was poor and didn’t have any variety, we have been to a lot different Brazilian steakhouses where they gave us more variety for the starter and salad.
Unfortunately, nothing was satisfying but the mashed potatoes.
Then they started serving the meat too late but to be honest, it was delicious and they cut you bigger slices than any other place.
We asked them not to serve us pork, so we had less variety than anyone else.
But again, they served us 4 times and then they stopped and didn't even serve us chicken!!
I tried to keep talking to my husband till they come again and you can find the photo where they left us with no more food. Then the waiter came and asked us if we were done or if we want to keep on and I told him clearly that we are still working on and wanted to get serviced but also no service at all for almost 45 minutes then my husband got frustrated and called another waiter to get service, we waited for 10 more minutes then finally we got another round but this time the meat was really dry and it was awful that we asked him to stop service.
I kept waiting for the dessert and candles to celebrate his birthday but waited for nothing then another waiter came and asked us if we want the check!!! I was so disappointed they ruined my husband's birthday!!
I will never return to this place again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

Great place and atmosphere. Food doesn't disappoint whatsoever. Favorite was filet and lamb chops as they melt in your mouth. Mashed potatoes go great with the meat but as always, I try to keep the carbs to a minimum to be able have more room for the proteins. The Brazilian flan was to die for - photo included. Probably the best I have ever had, sorry mom. Guys and gals that serve are super nice and adhere to your special requests on meats in a timely manner. Overall was a great experience and will be sure to come back again and again.

It was a great place for a quiet dinner date with your love ones. The servers were very helpful and polite. They were very attentive, and they made the dining experience great. The meats were good but I was hoping for more because of the price. They have lots of options for side dishes. The overall dining experience was great!

This place is mainly known for buffet style or “Red Green” service so delivery/to go isn’t going to be ideal.
The meats are delicious and cooked to your liking depending on where the server slices from. Excellent customer service and great ambience.
The cheese balls are addicting and the various meats are plentiful. I highly recommend the garlic beef. Great sit down for a family gathering, problem is parking. Either find a structure or on the street a block away.

Great meat, great service! Overall experience as out of the park 5/5. We had a party of 14 and it was a great end of year celebration. One of the servers, francisco was great, phenomenal service and kept getting us all our favorite meats!

It's a wonderful Stesk House. The salad bar has super duper lot of choices. Every item tastes great and is very well prepared with perfect attention to details. The staffs are very friendly and fast. Restroom is clean. Parking is very limited by the street, so expect parking at a public parking structure (with fare) instead. Oops, they ask for ID and Vaccinaion Card.

Great experience. Soft Brazilian music in the back. Apple the host was so sweet & welcoming. The salad bar was filled with delicious options. & the meat cuts kept on coming 16 different types of quality meat cuts cooked from rare to well done. Very, pleasant, professional ambiance with AMAZING food. A steal for 42$ for lunch & 62$ for dinner. An elegant Brazilian oasis in the middle of the Downtown hustle & bustle.

The wait time was long but the experience was well worth it!! The salad bar has a great variety of items. The complimentary bread is DELICIOUS!! All the meat was great. Our favorite was the Lamb Shank. Service was great! Love the idea of Yes and No cards for more meat. Definitely recommend it!!

Ultimately, while the food, service, or anything else involved with the restaurant was great, for the price, I feel like I should point out some things.
First off, the ambience was great. As expected for that type of restaurant, everything was very clean, well decorated, and well laid out. The wait staff were also very friendly and helpful. Regarding the service however, I found the rotation of meats to be very clumped. We filled up our plates very early, but weren’t able to try the meats that were denied later unless we specifically requested it. This contrasts to my previous Brazilian steakhouse experiences were the rotation was a lot more distributed, allowing us to try everything that we would have wanted in a reasonable timeframe. There were also some other smaller things like having to ask multiple people multiple times for water refills, which, while not too much of a issue and understandable for that type of restaurant, was still noticeable.
The food was good. By far my favorite item was the honey grilled cheese (literally a square of cheese that was grilled with a drizzle of honey) which I would say is a must have for those choosing this establishment. While the meats were good, I found some to be more on the rare side, particularly the lamb chops. All the sides I had were great (mash potatoes, cheese bread, banana, etc) and complemented the meats quite well. Overall, did I feel I got my moneys worth in terms of food quantity and value? Yes. Wether I’m satisfied with the quality and taste for that specific price however is a different question, one that I’m on the fence about. In the end, I would recommend this restaurant for those on a special occasion or if you are into Brazilian style steakhouses.
