Disappointed. I remember when their food was well seasoned and everything tasted fresh. After several recent orders, it just isn't the same. You get badly cooked, terribly seasoned, smaller portioned, overpriced food.

The best chilaquiles I've had so far in L.A.
My friend had the breakfast burrito and said it was great
Also the outside seating area is nice, seats are well-spaced and service was attentive
Edit after recent visit: cashier was coughing as they took my order and they also were not familiar with menu, couldn’t answer detailed questions. I had other hygiene concerns as well. I probably won’t go back here. Sorry.

In the passed I've had plenty of dishes off of their menu. This last visit was a negative one. I asked for chilakiles which is hard tortilla chips sautéed either in green or red sauce... well!!! To my disappointment idk how long the chilakiles had been sitting around but the chips were soggy almost like a paste like material. Do not recommend

Great food, really flavourful, great portions. Really decently priced for LA and authentic "a lado del calle" feelings.
Ordered the Al Pastor burrito with everything, really good!

Bless the people who open early so people can have their UNBELIEVABLE ASADA, BACON, AND CAJUN SHRIMP breakfast burrito. If there is a perfect breakfast burrito, this is one of them!!!!!!

Rude staff; lady taking the order looked annoyed just to be there. Food was not good at all. Meat was dry and rubbery like it was cooked days ago. Overpriced for the quality. I wouldn’t even take it if it was did free. I suggest going to Tirsas Mexican for authentic good food.

This is one of those hidden gems you see people post about!
I usually don’t let reviews sway my decision on where I eat but this day I wanted nachos and when I Google “Best Nachos” this spot showed up twice on two different searches.
Let me tell you I must agree with the reviews the nachos were amazing and they give you a huge portion but don’t worry not enough to put me down for the count! I could have eaten two but I’m shredding for the summer. ????????

Super delicious place! Very authentic and the burritos are huge. Mine is not pictured because I ate it way too fast. I got the Happy Burrito and it had a great combination of things in it. The tacos were average in my opinion. Come for the burrito though!

Today was my first time at Happy Taco and let me just say I am in love with this place. It's a small cozy place with the tables outside. Every single person working there is so nice and show great customer service. Best of all is the food!! Everything is fresh and nicely cooked and presented. The flavor of the meat is extraordinary. Definitely exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be coming back. Thumbs up in my book ???? By the way the asada fries are the best I've ever tasted and the tacos absolutely delicious.
