CASH ONLY. Amazing service and super fresh sushi. Large thick cuts. Highly recommend the nigiri bowl. Cute little spot. Can’t wait to go back.

The fish is very fresh and yummy. The employees are extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything came quickly and the presentationl was beautiful! Definitely recommend.

In west Los Angeles, small sushi bar. The tempura was great (9/10)! Shrimp, kabocha, etc. The sushi was plain and lacks creativity, inspiration (3/10). Had the yellowtail, California and spicy tuna rolls. Not a lot of adult beverages. The staff could try smiling and be friendlier. I felt like cattle. They only take cash. No credit card or Venmo. And yes, it’s 2022.

Amazing toro sushi! Fatty and creamy. Just everything you want from toro. I also like the nigiri set. 8 type of different sushi is a good tour. Only thing is they’re cash only but has an ATM inside.

Was craving some sushi tonight so stop by after work. I wasn't disappointed at all, they have a big selection of sushi which were all soo great quality ???? Started with Salmon Skin salad, tempura and then jump into sushi. Ordered Ika, Salmon, Tuna, Tabon Ebi, Salmon Belly, Scallop and Salmon Belly. Also ordered Mentaiko and California Roll which were also delicious. All the sushi were fresh and yummy. I had to wait for about 20 mins to seat but it was worth the wait. A server name Seika helped us and she was very helpful and super nice ???? Will be back for sure!

Have not been back since the world shutdown 03-2020. Great return as the sushi chef gave me a complementary blue tail ... And it was mind blowing amazing. He gave me 4 pieces and I ate each one with care, so that I could savor the taste and the taste was fantastic. I now have a go to item at Hide sushi bar. I love this place and have been a customer since 2004. They never ever disappoint. They are known to get busy so be ready for a worthwhile wait.

Cash Only place which I didn't find it too logical. However fresh ingredients and big portion sushi. Some sushi had too much rice. I would like to go back with plenty of cash and try something else more!!!! Great atmosphere, hot spot you expect to line up and fair price

Great sushi - best I’ve ever had and best value - I always go when visiting LA. Does anyone know if they reopened?!!! Please say it ain’t so!!!!
Attaching photos of their incredibly fresh and delicious sushi from past visits about 10 years ago.
By the way, I am a sushi “purist” (I hate Americanized Frankenstein type rolls dripping with spicy Mayo, deep fried, and that pack more calories than a Big Mac!) — you won’t find that at Hide — the sushi here is so high quality and traditional - a simple menu but everything is perfect.
UPDATE: Apparently there is cause for optimism for a reopen once the pandemic peters out! Someone on Yelp yesterday claimed to have spoken with the owners who will reopen once everything is back to “100% normal” (assuming no more social distancing) so they don’t have to keep closing and opening.
UPDATE: OMG I just heard they are back!!! Hallelujah (sushi is almost a spiritual experience for me). Looking forward to going back.

Best sushi in the area. So fresh and great flavors. Favorites are the toro (very fatty and thick) and the spicy scallop special! They reopened a few weeks ago and I came 3 times in the past one week! Servers are very kind and quick. Remember it’s CASH only!!
