I waited this morning for this place to open, I came in at 9am but was, that closed, I goggle the time they open and indicated they open at 9:30am but the man inside was just sitting down all this time, he didn't start doing anything until 9:35am, it was 10 am when I asked him what time they open because I looked up the time they suppose to open and supposed to open at 9:30am, then the man answered that, " I could talk to the owner if I didn't like it", that it was just two people working. But he was barely moving to do anything. So I just left, NEVER TO COME BACK AGAIN. prices are high and the service is rude, what a combination, funny that they have such a good rating. That was just my personal EXPERIENCE this morning 7/2/22

My family and I came from the Central Valley ( 4 drive) just because I saw a video of the owner on tiktok plus I was reading the good reviews but I regret it. I’m at home sick with because of this!! ( maybe for the things that I saw as well)
Supposedly the WiFi was not working that day and all the payments were cash so the manager was handling it and handling the food without washing the hands, yes he was touching the food directly.
Plus I see him licking his hand while his prepared the food again without washing the hands.
Come on during Covid time and you doing this??
I’ve tried to contact the owner about this before I post my review but he doesn’t care at all.
I know a lot of people going to say stay home then!! But that’s why we chose a restaurant and no street food.
But if the manager does this things when the customers are watching, imagine what he will do when nobody is watching him?

First time here and it was good! Great prices! The pupusas are pretty big which I like! The caldo de gallina India was so yummy and the rice it’s really yummy as well. Honestly I’ll definitely will be back!

Food is OK but the COUNTER service is absolutely atrocious. I asked for Vegan Pupusas which they have on the menu stating NO CHEESE and the man taking the order ARGUED with me that they cannot make those without cheese. And I pointed it out on their own menu and he was like, I'LL ASK IF THEY CAN DO IT. How are you going to ask if they can do something that is on your menu?
Then I wanted some Yucca fritas but they only had an appetizer that included chicharrones for $11. I asked if they had just a side of yucca fritas. He said yes but when it came time to ring me up he rang me up for the app for the full amount out of the order with chicharrones. When I asked him why he told me they don't have a side order they just gave me a lot more yucca. So he lied. If he would have just told me that I wouldn't have ordered them.

Great Salvadorian taste at a affordable price.
Pupusas revueltas, platanos fritos (fried plantains) and sopa de gallina (Salvadorian chicken soup) are some of the food offer at this restaurant I will definitely recommend it if you are in the mood for some good Salvi comfort food.
