The service was exceptional. We ran into a lil disappointed with the fried chicken but once brought up yo the server they took care of it with such grace and because of this I will return to try more things on the menu :)

One of the best coffee drinks I have ever had! The food was also absolutely perfect! I had the breakfast burger and my husband had the breakfast plane and we loved it. We def will come back. Only downfall is parking kinda sucks but be patient is worth it

One of my favorite stops in LA for brunch or coffee. Relaxed environment with indoor & outdoor seating. Both the food and drinks are amazing! The mango pesto rice is one of my top favorites on their menu! Would also love to see new dishes on the menu

Situated at the sharp corner of Glendale Blvd and Laveta Terrace, the coffee shop takes up a stand alone building. Small, but stylish, its look hits all the right notes for me: minimalist, raw and slick, somber yet luminous. The smooth, almost glossy grey concrete goes straight from walls to seating surfaces and the coffee bar at the end of the room. No green plants, just dry brown grass, matching the wooden blocks and boards that look endearing with wear and tear. I was thrilled—I have never seen a coffee shop like this.
But that was also the closest I have come to like Laveta. I had flat white and cortado here. They range from good to passable, and the presentation can be quite casual. I wasn't impressed. Even more disappointing is the lukewarm service. During my three visits there were three different baristas and not once I felt genuinely welcome. It took as long as the time to make two drinks for one of the baristas to make eye contact, even though it was an empty room with two other customers sitting aside waiting for their drinks and I was in front of him the whole time. I felt as if I didn't stand by the bar but in his way of a chill morning.

It's so hipster you almost want to hate it but the food is really tasty. The mushroom porridge is warming and yummy. The coffee is solid though a tad expensive. They do have Wifi and a parking lot which is winning. Space is sunny with limited seating.

WOW! this coffee shop is a must!
I am in awe of the interior & the coffee at this spot. everything is simple and appealing. The barista is sweet and can make a bomb cup of coffee! The matcha & vanilla latte were perfection! The interior is so beautiful (attached some photos)
My friend always would drive by this place & want to go, I'm glad we finally did!
this is a perfect place for a coffee date or to go do some work on your computer. I'll be coming here every time I'm in LA now!

We got here as we had gotten this place in mind for a while. It looks like a modern coffee place in the middle of Seoul, Korea. Of course, this place perfectly fits in the neighborhood. We liked the interior and outdoors design. Although we've not tried the food, I saw people eating outside who seemed regulars. You can try this place by car as it has spacious free parking.

Lots of cool outside seating and inside seating. Friendly staff and they have a bathroom outside. Parking isn't easy but they got a decent sized lot. We parked in the nearby streets. I got a bag of coffee which was their espresso roast - kinda light but actually tasted great, I would have liked it a little darker if it's espresso. They have food options and they have really cool nearby places to walk to. There is a cafe across the street with pastry and a little further up is Tribal cafe which I like. The street is a little loud but they have wifi so you can sit on your laptop and a pretty cool crowd comes to this joint if you wanna people watch.

Excellent coffee. The interior is ideal for those who appreciate (because enjoy is certainly not the right word) concrete surfaces. Harsh but not forbidding. Friendly people.

Simple and aesthetic interior and some outdoor seating. Drinks weren’t sweet and tasted good, but they were nothing special. It took a longer time than I expected for the drinks to be ready. If I’m in the area, I might stop by and try the more unique drinks and food. Parking is limited but available.
