Don't hesitate to stop in!
Being such an iconic spot in Hollywood I was excited to enjoy a meal here.
What's cool is you're able to select music over the jukeboxes that are set up around the restaurant.
Music selection is solid, but the food is even more so.
There are some great photos around the place of celebrities who have dined here as well.
The food is absolutely delicious.
Service is friendly and prompt. I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes to get out food.
Mel's Diner is the place to be!

I read reviews and someone said the sunset burger was the “best burger” they ever had. Those are strong words. So I decided to try it. Let me tell you what’s in it. it’s only toasted bread, cheese, icebergs lettuce, red onion, and pickles. No spread or sauce and some dry as* patty. Yes the service are bad as well. The only thing good was the strawberry milkshake.

It was great for the experience and nostalgia. The food was not fantastic nor was the service. It wasn't terrible. It just wasn't great. The portions were large. A good place to go to check off of your Hollywood visit list.

We had lunch here. Western food like hamburger and sandwich. Pretty good. Portion is not too big, but this place is full of old American atmosphere like the 70s.
We love this place and it is really unique in terms of decor. The food is common American and standardized.

The food was great. It lived up to its expectations. The sweet potato fries were crispy and had a good flavor. Sometimes, other places cook them & they are tasteless and soggy but these were excellent. The omelette was a large size and also full of flavor & tasted as the description read.
The only issue I had, which wasn’t a big one, was that the table was sticky & the restaurant was so packed that our service was a bit slow (for refills). That speaks volumes for how good the food is. I would recommend going if you are a movie buff and hungry.

This place is clean , the theme is very nice , service was on point , and the food was really good as well. Just what you’d expect from a old school diner , I really enjoyed every bit of it . Can’t wait to go back there for one of their milkshakes !

When today in the afternoon. My mother and I were really in the mood to eat breakfast! They had the option to get breakfast for the afternoon which was good. We ordered the corn beef hash with sides of hash browns and griddle potatoes. As for parking as long as you get your ticket validated at the restaurant it’s only 3.50 for the first 60 minutes. The vibe was also very awesome and great waiters and waitresses!

We had been wanting to try Mel’s Drive-In for awhile now and finally decided it was time. We went last night a little more than an hour before closing. I loved the theme and the music. The food was great! The cherry pie was delicious. They make an amazing blueberry martini too. Everyone was super friendly.

On 2/12/2022 Super Bowl Weekend, The Hard Rock was not taking reservations and it was empty. So we decided to go to Mel’s. The food at this location is delicious. I ordered the smash burger, it was smashing. Great Service. .

I had to come here for its iconic nature is a big allure for me being that it’s a diner I love brunch foods…
The atmosphere was just like I expected!
Food was pretty good I just had issues with service being slow and it wasn’t busy at all. My Bloody Mary tasted off and was filled with spices it tasted like salt and pepper only and my celery was old and they were out of olives for it.
My shake was excellent and very crispy salted fries! I suggest getting lunch over breakfast here.
