A good friend of mine used to eat here with Bruce Lee and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1968. I figured I would try it out. One of the original remaining restaurants in Los Angeles Chinatown. The tangerine chicken is epic.

Great place for solid Chinese food. Wish their hot sauce was spicier though.

Have not been to this restaurant in over 2 years. The waitress took the liberty of tip shaming my family as she set our meal on the table. We were reminded that they provide a service WE HAVE TO TIP FOR and she rememebers where we last sat. Mind you, not once did she ask us if we needed drinks, refills, tableware. Gave us 1 napkin to share amongst 3. Did not even finish our meal as we felt uncomfortable with their looking our way while speaking in their language yet no CUSTOMER SERVICE WORTH TIPPING FOR. Will NOT be returning.

Although we haven't tried too much, the shrimp wontons were delicious and the coconut milk drink definitely the highlight. Hope to go back soon, so we can sample more of the menu.

Wow! Tangerine Chicken, Fried Rice with Chicken, Won Ton Soup. Chinese Tea *iced* and hot was very good. Friendly staff. One of those places you just happen to find and get really good food!

A few of us in our party either hadn't had Chinese in a long time or were picky when it comes to Chinese cuisine. So if you're that kind of group and looking to experience authentic non-fast food Chinese cuisine, this is the place! We all enjoyed our meal. Recommend the sweet and sour pork, sausage fried rice, and Korean style beef haha. Nice staff!

The Seafood Soup is a must! I get it every time I'm feeling under the weather. They also have a great corn soup, and their other food options are pretty good as well. The tapioca is delicious here, I prefer the mixed fruit over the mango.

GDD sufferers rejoice! (that's Garlic Deficiency Disorder)
I got a major fix with my stir fried mushrooms and vegetables. Fragrant, tasty, very satisfying. Chinese broccoli, string beans and carrots done just right - firm and hot, 1" fried tofu squares - soft on the inside, browned on the outside and a side bowl of steamed rice. Yum. All served quickly and efficiently with a smile.
