Pitchoun has a large pastry selection, both traditional French stuff like croissants and eclairs, and Americans favorites like scones muffins. There are plenty of seatings inside as well as outside in a charming patio.

I had a croissant and canele. The croissant isn't very flaky, so a bit disappointing considering this is a French bakery.

Grabbed breakfast here one morning and the omelet was scrumptious. It was a simple omelet with ham and mushrooms but it was bursting with flavor. I honestly wanted to order another one because it was so good but I didn’t. I also grabbed a fruit tart for a friend’s birthday and he demolished it and said it was one of the best he’s had.

Wonderful French bakery option for breakfast in downtown. Great selection of pastries and baked treats. Friendly quick service at the counter and coffee served French style in a bowl.

First don’t get the apple tart! It has apple sauce inside it and not sliced or poached apples. Other than that everything is incredible! Friendly employees and the food is so good. We ate here everyday for breakfast while we were in town for a convention and cannot wait to come back. The name translates to kiddo in English if you didn’t know!

One of the first stops I did while in LA. A little French breakfast place with some incredible dishes. I ordered the eggs Benedict and a latte and was not disappointed. I myself enjoy a very runny poached egg and was happy to see the poaching on the egg was perfect. The hollandaise wasn’t split as well making this a great breakfast to start the day.

The pastries here are so good. The traditional baguette was good, the strawberry danish was just OK but the palmier was really delicious. I was disappointed that I couldn’t try the croissant because they were already sold out. We also got the breakfast sandwich with the ciabatta. The ciabatta felt a little cold compared to the rest of the ingredients in the sandwich, but it was still yummy. I’ll be back for their palmier and to try their other pastries.
