Best Damn pizza I have ever had. My reviews a little late as I was there last year. But I can’t stop thinking about the pizza. Nothing compares in Florida where I’m from. Or any of the states I have visited.

I hate LA but I will be flying back just to get pizza ????

The dough, the sauce, the pep. All of it was just phenomenal.

This is the pizza you see in your dreams

This is a very good average pizza place. Unfortunately they do not have slices available after 5pm on weekends, this me and my friend were forced to order a whole pizza. Also because the pizza is made fresh after you order it, it does take about 20 minutes so I would call ahead. The crust is very thin and crispy and I would have preferred a little more cheese on the cheese pizza. The flavor profile is great though, with fresh basil on top of the cheese pizza. Also it is a bit greasy as well.

“Best” of anything is very subjective. With that being said this is ONE of the best pizzas I’ve had. The grandmas pizza could use more sauce imo but that’s just me. Seems like some people may have caught them on a bad day lol I still love it here

If you would have asked me a day ago id say best pizza in LA. NOT ANYMORE. After waiting nearly 2 hours for my ONE pie, it came cold, hard as a rock, and practically no sauce at all. I didnt know i ordered a giant cheese crisp. Every bite was harder to swallow than the last no matter how much extra marinara you put on it. Now this review isnt because the pizza was cold, but because it wasnt a pizza at all. IT WAS A CHeesecrisp.
Probably never ordered from here again and for sure telling everyone i recommended here never to again too

Bought a Prime cheese pizza on N. Fairfax for $24.00 and was very disappointed to spend that much money for a over cooked dry pizza. I would have rather gone to the supper market and bought a frozen box of Ellio’s pizza for $5.00. Or maybe whole foods pizza, it may not be the best but it’s $13.00 and never disappointing.

Despite calling the same night (less than an hour before arriving) before we came, despite driving 60 miles from Huntington Beach (en route to Malibu), despite confirming that they serve pizza by the slice, upon arriving, the glib cashier proceeds to tell me that they haven’t been serving pizza by the slice for hours as “it’s just too busy right now.” To top it off, no bathroom, and one review cites 3 health violations present here. It’s a waste of time. We are headed to Santa Monica Pizza Kitchen where they honor their word.

We stopped by because this pizza place came in first place on google when searching for best pizza slice in LA.
I compare to NY/ NJ pizzas and garlic knots as that is what I know.
Curious to see what LA has to offer in pizzas, that was our experience:
Pizzas were good, but very small. Went for the cheese (reg) and grandma.
A couple of orders of garlic knots, and had three disappointments: barely any garlic on the ‘garlic’ knots; tiny knots; the tomato sauce is served Cold…?!
Service at the counter was below par: had to go back twice for stuff: forks, napkins.
Bottom line, if this is the best LA has to offer, sad.

I got a slice of the Square Grandma which tasted much better than it sounds. The sauce had a decent amount of flavor, and the crust had a satisfying crunch. The service was hospitable and kind.

This pizza place is named one of the best pizzas you can find in LA. We usually order their lunch specials which is $8. You get two slices of pizza and a drink. I got Pepperoni and Grandma the first time. The second time we went, I got Grandma and Sicilian. I recommend getting a standard pizza slice and the square slice rather than having two square slices. The square pizzas are great, don’t get me wrong, it’s just that when you have 2 slices of those, it can be overkill because of the amount of dough you’re consuming. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you checking this place out. Parking can be difficult because there are a lot of other small restaurants in the area and the Supreme store across the street.

We ordered a box of pizza was just classic cheese and basil and some garlic knots after multiple local Californians highly recommended! We were definitely not disappointed! It is definitely one of the most unique pizza flavors I have ever had. The crust is thin yet crispy and the sauce is salty and rich! Due to Covid, you pay and pick up your pizza from a small window outside the store, so I only got to admire the witty art pieces and pizza puns that are around the store from a distance. The garlic knots were addicting and you definitely won’t get enough! We picked some up on our way to the airport back home because we needed to give this place one more go before we left! I would definitely order ahead if you are looking for a pie, I believe they only sell individual slices on weekends
