An excellent New American meal in an excellent downtown L.A. venue. Very creative fare served in a building with a lot of history. The dishes were inventive and delicious. And at the very least interesting. Redbird is really defining what New American cuisine is and can be. All served in a redone rectory which served as a home for a cardinal. Where the name Redbird comes from. The interior had a real upscale atmosphere but still felt welcoming and cozy. All in all I had a great L.A. food experience. This is a foodies dream restaurant and a must visit when your in Los Angeles.
Dos thumbs up ????????

Redbird is set in an absolutely stunning location downtown which boasts an amazing indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The vibe is definitely upwardly mobile with a cool crowd assembling for breakfast/brunch/lunch/and dinner!

Amazing food and drinks election with really knowledgable staff. We had the breakfast club which was totally delicious.

Highly recommended!

The Redbird is a hidden gem in Los Angeles Downtown.

The ambiance of the outdoor dining is excellent and the best we have been seeing. The services are excellent, or having an excellent management.

The cocktail Nogada and Day Boat Scallops are rated at 5+

If you are booking for an outdoor seat, make sure to check the weather, it is cold at night! Even though they have heaters, it’s still cold.

We picked from the DineLA 2022 menu and everything is delicious. Though the food is more salty than how I remembered :)

It’s a super popular place so we had to wait for 15-20 even we made a reservation.

Still one my favorites in DTLA

First time going. My husband and I had an amazing time! The staff really made it a memorable time. Anthony, Michael, Ray, true stars behind the bar! Drinks were amzing! Great atmosphere and conversation. Very knowledgeable in their craft. The food was equally as phenomenal! Here are a few shots of the incredible food.
Pictured food: Hamachi crudo, scallops, black truffle cavateli, prawns, Weiser pee wee potatoes.
Drinks not pictured: Nogada (mezcal), cardinal punch, old fashion. Need to order all!

One of the best meals I've had this year. The parker rolls were some of the best bread and butter I've ever eaten. Thoughtful, modern and delicious across all the courses. Fantastic

Cute, fun vibes and a wonderful open space with heat lamps so you won’t be too cold at night. There’s private dining rooms upstairs and a garden that’s also delightful.

Meal was a mix of big hits and misses, with the hits ultimately winning out. We loved the complimentary cheese bread, Parker rolls, rigatoni pesto pasta, and scallops. I appreciated the fact that both main entrees did not feel too heavy on the palate. The sauce accompanying the scallops was fantastic!

Big misses were the shishitos and crudo. Shishitos tasted as if they were drenched in fish sauce, while the crudo was bland, mediocre sashimi. Avoid.

Miso cheesecake was an interesting concept and reminded me of a salted caramel panna cotta. I didn’t agree with the Granny Smith sorbet pairing but nonetheless it was unique.

$5 parking garage (safe and well-lit) once you drive past Redbird and turn right onto Los Angeles.

Just celebrated a birthday at Redbird! It was quite wonderful… The food was exquisite that went wonderfully with the excellent customer service experience.
The setting was at the old and spirited Vibiana 1876 DLA. Chef Frazer stopped by and it was nice to chat with him. We use to patron his former restaurant Grace. I would love to return and take a tour of the building. When not busy. They will give a tour.

The food is quite creative and tasted good for the most part. I've never had pasta with grapes before or a pumpkin creme brulee for example... But it almost all works. The decor and service was very nice too.
