This place has 4.5 stars but let me tell you, it needs at the very least… six. After the tasteless disappointment last night at that other Nicaraguan restaurant, I swung by here on my way to the Natural History museum in LA. I ordered one of the typical nica breakfast dishes which was huevo con chorizo, gallo pinto, crema, maduro frito, and queso frito. (Eggs mixed with chorizo not spicy, rice and beans, fried plantains, sour cream, and fried cheese) Dear lawd this was awesome… everything tasted just as I expected it to taste having grown up eating this food. The portion was great, not too much and more than enough, and last but not least the service was great. Now I have to figure out how to have dinner here later or lunch before I head back home tomorrow lol. OH… and the photo should say it all… I only left some pieces of onion cause I’m not a huge onion fan but everything else, as you can see… is GONE. Highly recommend this place!!!

This food is SO GOOD and that serve a lot! The customer service is very nice and noble. If your don't know how a drink tastes you can ask for a sample.

Very delicious Nicaraguan food, all fresh prepared from scratch. The food came out just perfect and fast too, the food was not greasy or salty and the ambiance was phenomenal. The restaurant is small and doesn’t have an outside area for the ones looking for that kind of seating but it was just what we were looking for. Our server was very pleasant and friendly so overall we had a great experience. Definitely a must go place when in LA.

Food was delicious!!! We drove out from Disneyland to try this little gem out. It had great reviews already on both Google maps and yelp. We got tue carne asada plate and the grilled pork as well, a nacatamale, quesillo, and Maduro con queso and cream. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good authentic central American food.

Delicious food. I'm vegetarian and some dishes are perfect for vegetarians too. My friend had a dish with meat and he said it was really well cooked with a very authentic Nicaraguan taste.
The service was great too, very nice waitress with good attitude. I definitely going back really soon.
Overall very pleased with this restaurant. 5 stars from me.

I am Nicaraguense and have been to Nicaragua several times throughout my life and eating here was like eating in Nicaragua! The plates were HUGE for very decent prices. I ordered the gallo pinto plate which comes with fried rice and beans, plantain chips, fried cheese and curtido for $7.99! The cacao (chocolate milk) was soooo good! They even have Nacatamales! These tamales are the best I have ever tried! They have bajo, milca, rosquillas and so many other Nica foods! I will definitely be back! Since we are from out of town, we are taking 10 Nacatamales back with us to Arizona! They are only $5 each and as the photo shows, 2 people can easily share it. Amazing Nicaraguense food!
