The food was mediocre. Spain Spanish inspired plates but not gonna take you back to Spain taste wise.
The AC wasn't even on during the hottest time of the year. There are other customers in the restaurant so not sure why they wouldn't turn it on. Miserable to eat while the temperature feels like baking in an oven.
Clue that this isn't authentic Spaniard from Spain deal is that they don't use olive oil for their bread when Spanish Spain uses olive oil vs butter and secondly their menu's front page is all about olive oil and yet didn't serve that with the bread.
Customer service was fine.

Food was disgusting! Chimichuri and rice had no flavor. Meat was tuff and hard. For some reason we were the only ones there but we had to wait long time for food to arrive. It was a Hot day and No AC which also sucked! Don't waste your money on this place food is gross

I am a regular customer of Spain Restaurant when I'm in town. A hiden place in the heart of Glendale neighbourhood owned by an Argentine husband and a Spanish wife. Their food is a combination of both cultures a reflection of Argentina's historical tradition between the two countries. Argentina declared independence from Spain in 1819 and the food and other tradition remain with it.
Paella made by order from scratch. Empanadas argentinian style (fried) as it was originally., spinach and potatoe tortilla española. I feel at home when I eat there, warm, colorful, gentle service.
Note: beef empanada ought to be improved some important ingredients missing.

I always give a restaurant a second chance, but I wrong this time. My son and I were by ourselves for the most part and they still my order wrong, I should have kept the plate they gave me first. My son's potato salad should have been call a garlic salad. Now I live garlic, but it was to the the point of overdose. The owner spend her whole time on the phone and never once ask how we doing. In fact we had to go to the front to ask for the check.
I never write a bad review, but do not waste your money there for lunch! It is 24 hours later and I am still burbing up garlic!

The food was great. Very clean inside and friendly staff. One cook came out and talked about how he prepared our dishes. Chatty fellow.

The worst Paella I've ever had in my life. It was soggy, had no flavor 2 pieces of shrimp for party of 5.
No one with good taste would eat here. Lol someone said there were beautiful vistas? Spain is located in a dirty minimall at the base of a hill and across from the offramp of the 2 frwy & the onramp to the 2&5 frwys, on one of the busiest blvd's in the area.

Glad this place is still around. I remember going here as a kid. Learned how much I love paella at this restaurant. Parking lot and restaurant are both small, but it’s definitely worth the wait. The garlic shrimp and the beef empanadas are amazing.

This area is becoming very popular, but this place has been a staple for this community for over 25 years. I have drivn by and never stopped which now I feel that I have been cheating myself for years. The food is esquisite along with the staff is very knowledgeable and not to mention welcoming. Krikor who served my wife and I was stupendous very attentive to our needs. Please call ahead at least 30 mins prior to getn there if your food is to go since the food is made fresh for each order.

The appetizers and paella were good. The only thing is that the portions of the appetizers are small but definitely they have a really good flavor. I didn't like the dessert but food was good.

OK, I am from Spain and I am quite disappointed that this restaurant is what represents my country in LA. Tortilla was overcooked and my mum makes better boquerones. They only serve the cheapest version of ham which is fine but there are a lot better versions of it. Sangria is good though maybe it needs some more fruit. I didn't get to try the paella. Place looks old, might be good for take away food but you don't need to have dinner here. Just buy a ticket to Spain! Staff is SUPER friendly though, I love the people that work here
