Stumbled upon Susie Cakes while wandering down La Brea…simply wonderful confections. Highly recommend the carrot cake and pineapple upside down cupcake.

SusieCakes are delicious and I have ordered many times. Today, however, the staff went above and beyond! I made a mistake with online ordering on my phone and accidentally ordered a cake a week later than intended. So, I showed up on the wrong date and my cake obviously wasn't ready. How embarrassing! Katelyn and the other young lady at the register (who's name I didn't catch) saved the day. Even though they were very busy, they got me a replacement cake and added the writing I needed. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Thanks for saving the day, ladies! I really appreciate your help and amazing customer service.

This place is phenomenal! I love this shop. The cupcakes are divine and the cakes are too. But the best part are the lovely people who work here. So generous, so friendly, and so helpful.

Wow, just wow. I love this place so much, everything here is incredible! Right when you walk in you’re greeted with the smell of butter and the most friendly, helpful people. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the technique in every item. I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies and the flourless chocolate cupcake but I’ve had pretty much everything and you won’t go wrong no matter what you get!

My family has been going here since they first opened, we absolutely love their cakes and every time we have a birthday we purchase the birthday cake and I personally love the marble and the lemon. They are so nice and always professional, we love having this place near our house. They are not to be missed, a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!

Got a carrot cake for my moms birthday. She loved it. The cake had just the right amount of raisins and walnuts and was nice and moist! Can’t wait to try more!

Even though the cake was very slightly dry, this lemon cupcake was so good! I loved the bite of the buttercream and there was a bit of delicious crisp on top of the cake. The shop was adorable and filled with wonderful sweets. And best of all, the cupcake was on the house. Thank you!

UPDATE: Went there planning on dropping $100 on cake and cupcakes. I even told them of my intention. However I was denied access to a restroom so I denied them my patronage. Perhaps I'll return but its going to be a while before this incident is forgotten.
PREVIOUS REVIEW: GREAT customer service on top of crazy delicious cakes. The tropical cake is my favorite. Thank you for being a birthday tradition for my family.
