Maybe this only applies to delivery but their portions are significantly smaller than advertised. Paying $13 for fried rice and having it arrive in a small to-go container while the picture shows at least twice as much food on the plate is not only misleading and dishonest but seems to me like the restaurant is trying to take advantage of the situation and its customers. Same goes for the beef noodles, like if you think "hey, will order this entree and share it with someone" then think again, because that is not what you will be getting, regardless of what is pictured.
Shame too, the food tasted good, but dishonesty spoils the entire experience, regardless of how good the food tastes.

Don't let the super hipsterfied appearance of this restaurant fool you: the food is actually soo bomb! The pork bao has been one of my favorite food experiences of the past year, and possibly the best Chinese food I've ever had
At $7, the bao is deceptively labeled as a "snack". It's actually kind of a lot of food. Like a whole damn sandwich. The bao (the steamed bun part---bao means bun in Chinese) was sticky, spongy, maybe a little sweet. The square of bbq pork was melt-in-your-mouth ecstacy.
My only complaint is that this place is not open for lunch: they open at 5pm weekdays and 4 on weekends. I have not tried the noodles yet but can't wait to go back.

I wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is fun and chill tucked away in a neighborhood, cool for dates. Service was quick and nice The food on the other hand, not flavorful. I mean, just bland. I have had lots of good eats in CA but this restaurant does not live up to the authentic claim. A little salt would help...
Plus, they serve a lot of the meals in these small bowls which makes it hard to eat. I plan on giving them another chance but this is my honest review as of right now.

I had the beef noodles, pork belly over rice, and chicken wings! Oh matcha too!
My thoughts:
Noodles: love how perfect the wok hei (the burnt taste) is on the noodles! And the noodles have the perfect texture that you just enjoy everything about it. The beef is so tender, too. Taste like home to me. ($13)
Pork Belly: the meat just melted in my mouth, and gosh the veggies’ flavors are just enough contrast to compliment the pork belly! ($13)
Wings: they use five spice ingredients to marinade the wings in. They tasted so good. Perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! ($9 per 7pcs)
Matcha: their home brew matcha was yumm, it has some coconut-y flavor in it too. ($4ish)
Spot: so cool! I love the outdoor seating that feels like street food in Asia. On the other hand, it feels a little more modern for the indoor seating area.

We stopped here while visiting a friend and the food was really good. We got various noodles. The noodles were really good. Get anything with noodles. The pork buns are also really good as well. Happy to visit and would definitely go back.

Amazing food and friendly staff! People need to be more patient -ALL restaurants are short staffed right now and staff are doing their best to keep up with demand. No need to leave a negative review for a small business about having to wait (heavy eye roll) oh well. More bomb chewy noods for me!!!!!

Salads came out super quick . Great service! Deliciously chewy noods. Bao was big and had amazing flavor. Great pickled veg. Fried chicken wings were some of the best - crispiest skin we've had, and five spice was bangin! Can't wait to come back for wine Wednesdays at Woon! ☺️????????????

Had such a great meal here, best to do it family style and share with everyone. The portions are on the smaller side, so you can really try a lot. You have to try the noodles; we got the veggie which was just packed with flavor. The cucumber tofu salad is nice and fresh with a touch of vinegar. Other great dishes were the fried rice, fried tofu fish cakes, and woodear mushrooms

This place was awesome. Food was flavorful n vibrant! Everything we ordered was great... the menu is small which means all the selections are like a signature dish. The fried rice was some of the best I've had.. chicken wings were crispy with a kick, and the beef noodles were on point! But the pork belly bao was the best thing on the menu.. the meat melts, vegetables fresh n colorful, and the bun is so soft! It was pretty oily but I still loved it. I liked the hipster vibe too, as to be expected in LA...my type of place for sure.
