Yellow House Cafe is one of my favorite spots in K-Town. It's really quiet and cozy and I love the food and drinks here.
The kimchi pasta is their specialty dish (not pictured) but I tried their summer special: Chili Shrimp and it was SO yummy!

Overall the portions sizes are great and the ambiance is very cute and fresh. Only reason why it doesnt take a 5 star is because their smoothies have a heavy fake fruit syrup taste

Loved the environment of this place. But it took almost a whole hour for us to get our food. & then we had to wait another 30 minutes for an order that the waiter never got or put in. And when he did put it in, we waited another 30 minutes. Waiters never came to check up on us either. They would peek in the back little house we were sat in but never come to our table unless we pressed the button. Even when pressing the button, they never came. Had to press it twice with about 10 minutes in between each press for them to actually come.
And when it was time to leave, took about 30 minutes for us to get our check. This place needs to either hire more people or not overwhelm their staff.
The food was good. Kimchi pasta was really good & the one in the picture too . Would come here again just to chill & chat.

Come for the vibes not the food.
This place has nice insta vibes on a sunny day.lovely cute decor. Tree house feel.
Tiny parking lot valet. Or street parking. Always a struggle in ktown.
Expensive food that wasn't that good tbh.
Tried the udon basic.
Pork cutlet comes w veggie mushrom sauce, rice and cabbage salad. Sauce was underwhelming. Its ok but damn 19 dollars?
Pasta dishes interesting. Get the combos for 25 and share w a friend.
Service was good. Although someone in my group got the wrong order. There is a button to call servers which is helpful. They were attentive and friendly.
One bathroom near the inside courtyard. Well stocked but a bit damp inside.
Overall. Come for coffee and hangout here for good atmosphere! but i would get food somewhere else.

So, we made reservations for my niece’s 18th birthday. Upon arrival we were told everyone everyone had to show proof of vaccination or no service… I’m sick and tired of not being free in this country! I will never go back to the yellow house cafe and if they end up closing down, it will be their own fault for turning people away!

One of my old-time favorite places to come! I've been coming here for so many years, and it's a great cafe to just get away from the city and have excellent food. Thank you for having such an amazing restaurant and cafe

First and foremost, Yellow House is a great study café. The reason why their food and drinks are pricier compared to other cafes is because you can stay for hours on hours to get your work done. The WIFI is decent and the ambiance is very comfy/homey.
I've only been here a few times, but I always end up getting their sweet potato latte. It's definitely a unique drink, but no one else makes it as well as Yellow House does. Their waffles and bingsoos are also great dessert options.
The only downside is their parking. They have valet, but street parking can be very difficult to find depending on the time of the day, and there have been several occasions where I've gone to a different café due to the lack of parking.

I tried the kimchi pasta. It was my favorite dish there definitely recommend it. The appetizers plate was ok. Didn’t have anything that kept my attention. Also ordered the Jambalaya which tasted like a soft kind of curry somewhat generic like you purchase at the grocery stores. Wasn’t bad at all just did expect a bit more. The atmosphere is so amazing. The outdoor seating is nice. The decorations and feel was mellow. Although one thing I didn’t like is so many little flies on the seating outside I had to keep swatting.

Everything was sooo yummy! Especially the kimchi pasta. The shaved ice was good but you can't get better shaved iced near by but it still wasn't horrible.

The food here was absolutely delicious. The outside itself was very unassuming.. but as soon as you enter the seating area it’s a completely different set up. The seating area was really nice and gave patio-like vibes.
My favorite dishes would have to be the Kimchi Bacon Pasta, Yellow House House Ddukboki Platter, and the Pineapple Fried Rice.
Overall, a pleasant experience and would return to try out other dishes.
