flavorful fresh food at an excellent price. a great alternative to the super fancy hotpot places that does not sacrifice more than decent quality.

Horrible. The place is poorly kept. The odor is suspect. Once I saw that I was going to be charged $2.99 for 5 cubes of tofu (1 inch sq.), I walked out.

If there’s a zero star, I will give it. Worst customer services ever. When you pay, don’t forget to check out how many plates you ate, they’ll charge you over.

Food is super delicious here! A different type of hot pot/hot plate style cooking and way worth a try. Price is pretty good and beats Kbbq if you're not crazy hungry. Everyone we have brought here to try has always come back again and again. Super recommended.

Restaurant is understaffed. But since it's 90% DIY, it's not important. Lunch is 20% off the main dishes (meats and veggies), but not extras (pickled dishes, etc). The setup is super simple and effective. Great food at a reasonable price. That's rare these days.

It was my first time eating this way
(Hot Pot) and I ate alone ☺ but I'm happy and proud of myself I tried it. taiwanese hot pot BBQ ????
Everything was delightful the idea of picking only what you want and cooking it yourself is brilliant.
The waitress explained things to me best she could and was very helpful.
Will 100% eat here again I loved it.
Price is fair ???? ombionce relaxed.

Always a pleasure to eat here! My fiancé and I had an amazing lunch ????
Average price is 4.39 per plate, so you can take as many as you want. The base soup is delicious ! And also the hot tea they give you ????

Worst restaurant experience ever! The waitress over charged my party’s plates and gave us a lot of attitude while I was paying for tip.
At the beginning, the only service provided by her was her laying out the clean dishes. She didn’t even offer to get us any drinks. We had to grab everything ourselves. Meat/seafood cost $4.39 per plate and veggies were $2.39.
I had 7 dishes of meat and 2 dishes of veggies, but she charged everything as $4.39. Unfortunately, I did not notice at that time that she overcharged me until I left.
When she gave us our check and saw me about to pay tips, she told me because I came between 11.30-3.00 there is lunch special discount. I told her thank you so much and wrote down the tip, which was 8% of my party’s total cost.
When I was about to leave she called me back and asked how much did I give her tip, I pointed to the receipt to show her how much, but she didn’t think it was enough. She then said "oh, but I gave you a discount.” I was stunned that she asked for more tips, but I said okay, I'll give you more. However, she then gave me an attitude while I handed the receipt back to her.
Then, as I was about to walk off the exit again, she told me to rewrite my tips and write my initial next to the total. I told her my signature was already there, but she insisting for me to write initial next to the total.
Cocary used to be affordable and have friendly environment, I suggest you guys to reconsider for your own happiness. This was the worst service that I have ever experienced in a restaurant.

My family and I have been coming here since forever. Location used to be a couple blocks away and already moved to here for quite some time. We love this place and it's got a nice shaved ice and milk tea area in the back. Price is per plate for meats, veggies, noodles and desserts. Yeah some things do feel a bit pricy but the unlimited soup, rice and porridge makes up for it along with the 20% off for lunch!!
