We have never been to Eddie V’s before. We were in San Diego for a certain event and decided to walk up and see if we could get a table. We had to come back in a hour and we were seated in the bar area but we walked up! If you know you are going to a restaurant make a reservation. Since we were seated in the bar area, there was a jazz trio/ quartet that was excellent. My husband ordered the caviar appetizer and was very happy. The truffle Mac and cheese came with shaved black truffles on top. I had the warm goat cheese and arugula salad and the scallops with citrus as my For the dessert my husband had the molten chocolate cake and I had cream brûlée that came with two chocolate chocolate chip cookies. The desserts were great. I would go back for dessert and the live entertainment. However the restaurant was not very accommodating if you have a food allergies.

A lovely restaurant! All of the staff members were warm, welcoming, attentive, polite, and pleasabtly interactive. The food was stunningly delicious! Ordered the warm goat cheese salad, which was a large enough portion for two. It has the strong Argula taste mellowed out by the portobello and the Goat cheese - a refreshingly different salad. Also ordered the lobster bisque, which left me craving more! It was so smooth and the large piece of lobster was a fantastic surprise! Then I had the Norwegian salmon, which was absolutely to die for, and very likely the very best salmon I've ever had. (It was a tab bit too salty on the underside on half of the salmon, but not terrible enough for me to finish each bite.) Then the grandest tower...The Big Eddie! Fresh Fresh tasting shrimp, crab, lobster, and oysters! Delicious from start to finish. For the birthday guest the marvelous restaurant team decorated the table, signed a card, and brought a plate with flambade banana foster and a pecan ice cream paired with a chocolate cookie...so fun! I tried two delightful different alcoholic drinks; Mango Mule and Red Dragon - both were excellent ???? ????????. (The drink menu title is Cocktails with Attitude. One drink is bold enough to be call 24 karat! Love the fun they put into these names.)

Amazing culinary experience; both seafood and steak options were wonderful. The bartender made the best smoked old fashioned drinks I had in a long time. Wonderful waitresses; very efficient and experienced. Highly recommend this restaurant

Great place, all the food which I ordered was spot on and fantastic taste. The atmosphere with the live music was also terrific. Very attentive service and nice hosts. I enjoyed everything from the first to the last moment I’ve been there. Definitely going to return to taste more dishes.

This place deserves 10 stars, the service was outstanding and ambient was perfect. The food was remarkable, the calamari appetizer was one of the best I've had in a long time. The ribeye was very well prepared and cooked to my taste. The Mrs and I had a red dragon mojito, alcohol drinks are mixed to perfection. Strongly recommend this place for a night out with your love one or family. Please check Eddy V website regarding pricing

So happy with my birthday celebration at this restaurant! My husband loves seafood, I only eat meat. This place offered the best of both! The signature cocktail is delicious, the seafood is wonderful, and the streak... Oh, the steak! It's hard to put a twist on it, but this place managed to surprise me with the parmesan horseradish crust. Wonderful twist that kept things interesting. The only part we didn't like was the lobster mash that was just too salty. Otherwise - wonderful meal, well worth the price!

Omg we had the best time at Eddie V's Monday night. We had the best waitress and service, the most delicious food, the best dessert. Overall the best place to celebrate any occasion with family and friends. So glad we came across this restaurant. Highly recommend.

My husband brought me here for my birthday and it was amazing! They had the table set up with rose petals and a birthday card. The smoked old fashioned was so good and the food was cooked to perfection. The free birthday dessert was okay but next time I will probably pay to get something else. Robert was our server and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us wonderful suggestions. We had a wonderful time and would love to go back again.

Great for special occasions or happy hour. Happy hour Sunday -Thursday from 4-6:30pm. If you plan to have a nice dinner or celebrate a special occasion this is the perfect spot. Located in Seaport village where you can walk around before or after dinner and enjoy the views of San Diego Bay. Make reservations for special occasions. All options are delicious including the steaks and truffle Mac & cheese. The seafood is exquisite with many options to choose from. The service is superb. Plenty of drink options to choose from. There's indoor and outdoor dining. You can valet park or find a spot in the meter area. One of my favorites.

Seafood was good. I ordered salmon and my husband ordered Mediterranean branzino both was good and their crab cake was the best crab cake I’ve ever had so far!! However the crab fried rice I wasn’t sure if meant to be half cooked because the texture of the rice was still hard and crunchy it was very flavorful but for me it must be fully cooked .. I loved their service! They always checked on us if everything was okay and they also set our table and put rose petals!! I liked how they put effort for people celebrating especial occasion and also the very sweet thing they wrote a letter for our anniversary wishing more happiness and love! wow thumbs up for that!! But I have to say this i wasn’t really bothered by the noise from the bar but some people screamed because of the game they were watching in the bar section I am just concerned for the people who likes to dine in quite while enjoying conversation with their loved ones. Because i noticed there was a time that our server couldn’t hear us she was like saying “hello” to us while waiting to say our orders but she couldn’t hear us that we are still deciding but because of the noise from the bar its makes me a little annoyed
