Updated: I have now been to this place several times. My experiences have been mostly pleasant each visit. Visited for the first time since the pandemic and discovered a few changes. They no longer bring chips and salsa out to the table. They now charge for them. Staff is very kind, but extremely unorganized. Food items kept coming out one at a time so by the time everyone's food arrived, someone else's food was already cool. They didn't bring plates out for the parrillada until we asked for them. Extra napkins weren't brought out without being asked. The staff is ridiculously kind and fun. Not a knock on them, but I'm not sure if they were short staffed yesterday or if things just aren't being run as smoothly as before. Food was still delicious, but for the lack of parking, meals served in shifts, and having to ask for items it's not worth going back for me.

First time visiting this place. Tons of seating both inside and outside. They offer a wide range of meal options (I had their milanesa which was delicious), so you're bound to find something to eat on the menu. Their michelada is delicious as well and comes with clamato and tajin and a giant cucumber spear inside it for an extra buck. Tortillas are handmade and fresh. Chips and salsa are good as well. They offer delivery via Door Dash. Only downside to this place is the parking. Plan on circling around a few times or parking a little bit away if the parking gods are not in your favor.

Had the Green Pozole and it was pretty good. Had it “Taxco-style” with chicharrones. Can’t say it’s like having the pozole in México, but it was pretty close to it. I highly recommend. Pal’ antojo!

Service was great and very clean. I ordered chicken mole. It came with rice and beans and tortillas on the side. The mole was very tasty, a bit spicy, but not over wellmely. The chicken was tender. The rice had corn which tasted very good as the beans. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend it.

San Diego has thousands ofmexican food restaurants and I've eaten at a lot of them. Out of all of them, this place's mole sauce is the best I've ever had! It is amazingly delicious, I've never had anything like it.

Delicioso! Authentic Mexican food. Pozole Verde was so flavorful. Fast service and pleasant waiters. Platano Macho and flan desserts were perfect!

This local spot is a favorite of ours. The fresh, house made corn tortillas never disappoint and the vegetarian section of the menu makes it easy for everyone to eat. Highly recommend the soy chorizo plate and sopa de albóndigas. Cute patio for outdoor dining, and is heated at night

We visit this place everytime we are in San diego. The food is great and service is great too. Definately try the smoked Marlin taco (It's the best). They also have a cactus and carne asada taco which is pretty good too. And do try the Jamaica(drink). It tastes like kokum(Garcenia Indica)
