My husband and I love this place! I tried the Carnitas Salad and it was really good. My husband had the Tsunami Fries and he said they were delicious! Lolita's always has excellent food!

Best taco of my life! I am a big taco fan and this is the best I have ever had for years. Veg is fresh, meat and seafood is decilious, sause is perfect, the tortilla is soft and flavorful. Everything is just as best as I can possibly imagine. Plus the price is reasonable. It's too bad that I don't live in SD. I wish lolita will open one store at my city. If I go to SD next time and I only have time for one meal, I will choose Lolita!

This Mexican food joint was good buy not great in my opinion. The prices were good fire the amount of food you were getting. However, I thought the burrito I hit was a little lack luster from what you'd get at some other places but still good for lunch. The food came out quick but the rice and beans could use a little more flavor. It felt healthier than lithe Mexican food places though.

I've been going to this specific Lolitas for 2 decades. Personally my favorite place to get a California Burrito. Pair it with their red salsa and you'll honestly have your taste buds drenched in rich flavors. It's that good! I live in North County but almost every week I come back down to buy a California burrito from my favorite burrito place.
And yes I've had a multitude of California Burritos from so many Mexican restaunts across all over San Diego, but this had always been the creme of the crop

When I went to order, I confessed that I heard this place had the best carne asada fries. The young lady laughed and humbly shared the meat is pretty good, but “idk about the best.” Girlfriend, let me tell you, the best! I ordered the Tsunami fries (carne asada and shrimp over guac, sour cream, cojita, and cheddar cheese) and I was just overwhelmed with flavor. I honestly can only go there once a quarter cuz I’m tryna lose weight, but I don’t really want that for myself. Best Carne Asada I’ve ever had!

1-1=0. Had taco roll combo. Just awful in every way possible. Pre-made, petite tacos, very dry chicken meat, not fresh guacamole, basically lowest quality ingredients possible. Beans and rice very dry, luke warm. Please pass up this spot and have some Pho or other options in the center. I paid $9 for this so I had to eat some of it. Beans just bad.

Lolitas has been a stable in my diet for over 15 years. They only use locally sourced ingredients and prepare everything from scratch. No wonder their carne asada fries are the best!
???? Tsunami fries: crispy fries, loaded with carne asada, shrimp, guac, sour cream.
???? Fish taco: grilled flakey basa, cabbage, pico de gallo
???? Chicken salad: juicy chicken with an unbelievable verde dressing
If you are looking for some tasty authentic Mexican food without paying the restaurant price, definitely stop my Lolitas!

spent $12.00 on a breakfast burrito and it's really small about the size of my hand. I haven't been here since they opened up the lobby again and won't be coming back. high prices, little food and only average quality ingredients. I've been coming here for about 8 years but now I'm supremely disappointed

So this is the spin off of the famous Roberto's taco shop. I had heard they are almost better than my favorite Roberto's. The decor is very modern and clean. I dined at the Clairmont location. To my surprise my bean and cheese burrito was lukewarm, the cheese was unmelted, also they don't grill the flour tortilla like Roberto's does. My beans almost seemed thick and dehydrated like it was from the bottom of the Vat. I can tell their food is quality, but there is some inconsistency. The chips and guacamole were fresh and delicious.
This always confirms to me Roberto's taco shop is king, always a real treat.

My 3-yr-old and I were leaving the zoo and needed to eat dinner on our way home to Orange County. I didn't see anything close to the zoo that looked good and was kid friendly at dinner time. So I decided to try finding something off the 805. We exited near Walmart and pulled over and googled mapped local restaurants. Lolita's came up and I saw a picture of their asada fries. My son heard fries and said let's go. They were delicious, and this will likely be a place we stop regularly on our home from the zoo. The staff was friendly too. And their salsa bar looked delicious - I couldn't partake sharing with son this time. I had to make my son stop eating the then soggy fries so that we could start the long drive home, he was loving them and wanted to leave nothing behind.
