Great selection of items on the menu, including vegan options. This restaurant has a homey feel to it, food was very tasty and flavorful, and service was wonderful. I will come back to try more items on the menu :)

We were here with some friends and had a great experience! The staff was super friendly and we loved the atmosphere. The food was really good and house made, whereas the burrito bowl wasn’t enough for my boyfriend. The menu is super divers and all dishes highly customizable (vegan, veggie, as bowls etc). I really loved that and would definitely come back!

Food and service was great! We loved everything we ate the mushroom tacos and blue berry smoothie were excellent. Also fresh warm tortilla chips, and lots of great vegetarian and vegan options, yum!!!

I ordered the 3 enchilada plate here and enjoyed it very much. The sauces were all very good, and the price was great (I think like about $12 for the plate). The rice and beans were great too. The horchata was amazing. The service was great as well, would highly recommend. (oh and of course great vegetarian options as well.)

Food was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly, polite and pleasant. I had the tres sopes. They were delicious but sadly I didn't finish all of them. Portion sizes are great! More than enough food.
The vegan churros didn't even taste vegan! Which is good because I am not vegan but my sister is. My sister had the vegan carne asada torta. She loved it!
I will be back next time I go to San Diego.

Lot of veggie and vegan options.
Chips and Homemade salsa are delicious ????.
Salsa has the right amount of kick that my 6 and 12 year olds enjoyed it too.
We ordered tripple enchilada, grilled veggie, veggies omelette.
The green enchilada in the tripple one was the most delicious one.
Eggplant chips were an interesting dish, was disappointed as it did not have any flavor. Eggplant being bland, would have expected some spices in the batter.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Amazing menu full of vegan options!! I had such a hard time deciding what to get! I went with a combo plate and loved the enchilada and the tempura tempeh taco that was similar to a “fish” taco. I think it was the best vegan taco I’ve ever had.

Had the amazingly flavorful Mole vegan enchiladas (1 carne and pollo) and the vegan carne was the best but both had great char and texture. Would’ve been extra special if they melted the cheese but maybe they don’t do that on the vegan version?
They have the biggest variety of vegan Mexican dishes I have EVER seen and so reasonably priced - many places over charge for vegan meat and this place is great about keeping it fair ???? My non-vegan friend had the fish tacos and really enjoyed that too.
Margaritas were tasty but felt too sweet and not strong, not bad but definitely could use a little more lime or tequila.

Up there with one of the best burritos I've ever had (got the surf n turf). Horchata was tasty. Beautiful, homey vibe to the restaurant too. We sat outside next to some nice plants. Huge recommend here.

An impeccable family-owned Mexican restaurant serving authentic home recipes with utmost quality. Excellent service and very friendly staff. First time visiting San Diego and the grandson of the family, Josh, made us feel very welcome to the city and went above and beyond in his customer service and table side manner. Definitely coming back again when visiting San Diego to taste more of their very extensive menu!
