This was a surprise. I ordered a veggie burrito, and was GOOD. A real assortment of tastes, fresh vegetables, good rice, and for the first time ever, WHOLE BEANS. There is one con: location. This is a sketchy area, on Broadway near 4th.

Not bad, meat was a bit old but overall fresh. Flavors are good, ideal for a quick stop. Prices a bit steep for burritos, tacos are a better deal.

We were looking for a quick eats place by the Civic theater for pre show dinner, and wanted something within easy walking distance and quick. This place fit the bill. Not much of a sit down restaurant (maybe 10 seats) but food was great. Small salsa bar and reasonably priced for downtown.

Absolutely delicious! So glad I found it, only sad I wasn't able to eat there more than once! If I'm in San Diego again I'll be making a point of going back.

Great authentic hole in the wall. We had breakfast burritos that were better than expected! Tried to come back the next day but closed on Sundays.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I had the asada nachos and pollo tacos with a pineapple drink and it was PERFECT. The meat is cooked and seasoned perfectly, the salsas are super fresh and flavorful, and the tortillas and chips were perfect. A great little place and the staff is super awesome.
I came here on the first day of my San Diego visit and I had to come back on the last day of my trip. Amazing place all around.

Simple, delicious tacos in downtown San Diego. Inexpensive, double tortilla-wrapped ingredients meant I could sample a variety of different flavors. Don't let the almost literal hole-in-the-wall feel fool you. Take out was prepared fresh and fast. Looking forward to going back.

Amazing tacos and fast service. We ordered so many different items and the service got everything right and the food was hot and delicious. If you're looking for a good Mexican restaurant for a good price, this is where you want to go.

Super friendly service! Ordered quesadillas, fish tacos and breakfast bowl, everything was fresh and tasty. Portions are huge. Very glad that found this small place!
