The restaurant was closed and I didn't see it, I just needed a blastek cup but one of the staff kicked me out and refused with a rood attitude. I know that I will pay the amount he wants. One of the worst restaurants to deal with.

My family celebrated a very special Birthday for me last night, Sunday, 8/14. The food was truly spectacular!! Restaurant is sooo beautiful and excellent service! The owner, Alfio, came over to greet us and could not have been more accommodating. I look forward to many more delicious dinners at Madeo's!

Worst service ever. Everything took long from drinks to our food. 1 hr till we got our food. Not acceptable. Especially the kind of money there charging. They should be on point.

There’s really nothing like madeo. The vibe and Alfie. Nothing could be better. The place is classic with forever consistent food and a place that feels like home/ food is not to die for but it’s pretty good service is great. The sommelier is horrible human and he needs to go but the rest of staff are great including special Nino

My family went for dinner Thursday July 28. The four of us who had linguini and clam sauce got food poisoning. My niece, my daughter, my granddaughter and myself got very sick that night, until the next day.The restaurant does not have a person answering the phone. When you call there is a recording to leave a message for reservations. I called several times and left messages as did my niece. No call back. We were supposed to go home to Florida today and had to cancel our flights. My daughter fainted this morning as she was dehydrated from being sick. I used to love this restaurant, and we always went there when it was in the old location. I will never go back. Let me add that they called me back and wanted to know how I knew it was the clams and I answered if the 4 of us met for dinner, as I was visiting my family and we loved this restaurant, and the 4 of us had linguini with clam sauce and became ill right afterwards, that's how we knew it was the clams. At first he said he wanted credit card info to refund the dinner, which I was nice enough to agree to as flights were canceled and we would have to stay another day in our hotel, and my daughter, who is still sick is getting an IV because she's dehydrated which is costly. Then he started saying if everyone was sick why wouldn't we go to the hospital and became very rude and told me he was calling his lawyer. I am so angry and upset that this is being handled this way. The refund and a better attitude, considering 4 of us were so sick right after eating, would have been greatly appreciated and I would have deleted my negative review.. Today is Monday and we are back in Florida after a difficult flight because my daughter was still sick. She is in the doctor's office right now . That's how sick she still is. I received an email from Sebastien the manager (also cc to his lawyer),, asking for medical bills, receipts etc and still insisting that it wasn't from his restaurant. It's difficult to believe how a successful business handled this situation. Instead of saying, these things happen, I'm terribly sorry, and I will refund your dinner, I am dealing with an insensitive, rude person. I wonder if anyone else got sick that night. I’ve already contacted LA Health Dept./ food bourne illnesses and spoke with them and they’re looking into it.

This restaurant used to be one of my favorites and know has become one of my least. We had an awful experience July 28th. I came in with my family and four out of the 6 of us got linguine clam sauce. Well all four of us got food poisoning and were up most of the night feeling terrible and that awful feeling continued all of July 29th and today. It’s been an extremely rough two days and ruined our last day of vacation. My family members along with myself have called multiple times each and did not got a response till 2 days later. We just got a phone call from a very rude man who worked there. At first he asked to refund our dinner. But then grew ruder and ruder as we spoke. He then threatened to call a lawyer. I am beyond disappointed in the way this is being handled. You will never catch me there again.

The new location is wonderful. The cuisine hasn’t missed a beat since moving from the past two locations. Service is so expertly professional and friendly, the atmosphere and ambiance is exquisite. Highly recommend, Sebatian has a wonderful wine list and Nino takes you on evening of effortless enjoyment if seated at his station. Congratulations all around and see you all very soon!

Food was pretty solid at this celebrity hotspot. Recommend the spaghetti Bolognese, the linguini vongole (clams), and the sliced veal. Portions we're pretty small and the prices definitely aren't cheap but the service was great and they split all the food to share. Try to get a seat inside and not the porch, but outside wasn't too bad.
Also Sicilian wine we got was marked up by almost four times, from 60 bucks before shipping to 230. Get that it's BH but that markup is insane.

Good professional service. The owner is there and often comes around to the tables to say greet you in. Lovely vibe. Make sure to book or if you want a seat for walkin, try an early dinner say 6:00/6:30pm the speck pizza with marscapone was something delicious, slightly sweet and simple but fulfilling.
