The taco dorados are super crunchy but the amount of filling is inconsistent (one had hardly any filling). But the chicharrones are some of the best, especially the ones where there is a bit of fat still on the skin. This is a very small place with limited seating, best to take it to go. You will need to add your own condiments (eg salsa, hot sauce, pico), as nothing was added in the bag. Will definitely be back to try the carnitas.

The food is absolutely incredible here. The meat was so flavorful and tender and the amount of food for the price is amazing. It’s a must try for everyone living in Chicago!

Great and authentic Mexican food.
The portions are very huge for one person.
My friend tried carnitas for the first time and he loved it. ????
The routine is, get carnitas and go to the nearest park and enjoy. ????

This place seriously has the absolute best carnitas I’ve ever had in my life. Sure there is usually a wait if you’re there on the weekend, especially Sunday, but the wait is well worth it. A few times I’ve had to wait for a table the owner actually started handing out free tacos to customers who were waiting for tables to open up. Like that’s a hospitality you don’t really see anymore at restaurants. Like if you’re not from Chicago you have to stop here and try the best carnitas you’ll ever have. Not just the carnitas, but everything else they serve up is phenomenal as well. Love the Chicharrón‘s in salsa verde, the brain tacos, give these people all of your money. Highly recommend this establishment for authentic Mexican cuisine if you’re ever in the Pilsen neighborhood, the pink line 18th street stop let’s you out right there too.
Well came back after like 2 years and I’m sad to say you can no longer eat inside but it looked sooo much nicer and of course all the delicious food is displayed for you to select. Can’t wait to go back !!!!

Great customer service! Quick easy pick-up order. Placed my order online and it was ready ahead of scheduled time. They packaged everything nicely and provided plenty of tortillas, cilantro, onions and lime. They even threw in bonus milk caramel lollipops. Food was delicious! Thank you!

Well first time here and I loved it the people workers tend to everyone even if it's not there table and I got refills when needed. Such great service even dancing to the music the waitresses makes you feel comfortable. The food is really good so I do say check it out it's a must try ????. There is one thing I really look for in a resturant and that's the coffee and let me tell you I have never had coffee with cinnamon and it was the best for me I loved it I will be back for sure...

We heard so many great things about the place but were always disappointed when it seemed closed as we walked by (we live in the neighborhood). Then we found out it’s more of a breakfast/brunch place than a dinner place, that’s why they close so early! Apparently they also sell out really quickly, so try to go early in the day. I give four stars though because the one time we finally had it, it didn’t taste very fresh, the pork smelled, and it was just very salty overall. Hopefully it’ll be better the next time we try cuz we’ve always heard such good things about the place. I was impressed though with how large the portions are for the price, it was a great deal!

Easiest online ordering and pick up ever! You can select what type of meat you want when placing order - ordered maciza and buche and it was so good! Order came with tortillas, diced onion, chopped cilantro, limones, and salsa.
