Waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was superb. Absolutely loved the baked oyster spedini and steaks were perfect. Can't wait until our next visit. Also the red velvet tres Leche was to die for.

One of the best steakhouse experiences we have ever had! The attention to detail was amazing and you feel like you’re transported back to the jazz or golden age era through the decor, music and fine dining experience. The ambience is so relaxing and upscale, but not stuffy or boring. The food was absolutely delicious, we loved everything. I highly recommend going here and supporting this restaurant so it stays around indefinitely. The staff is exceptional and the concept is really special! This venue is great for any occasion, especially romantic dates and special occasions.

Excellent service, food was fair!
Gatsby’s slightly pricey, menu is à la carte. Ordered the Fried Deviled Eggs and the other Deviled Eggs, Wyagu and Lamb Chops along with a few sides. The sauce is what worked for the Fried Deviled Eggs and for the Deviled Eggs it was the bacon jam. Main course the steak was fair (lacked seasoning), the lambs chops were better. The sides are enough to serve 4. The service was outstanding, server was honest and knowledgeable on the dishes! I gave 3 stars due to slight disappointment on steak…

First off…. I judged the texture of the Rockefeller oysters, then I tasted them… best damn Rockefeller Oysters I have ever had. The sides were phenomenal. I loved my rare steak, however it seemed slightly more rare than usual. Flavor was amazing. Lamb was exquisite. Kevin was a great server. Had fun with us and very knowledgeable.

The restaurant is beautiful!! Our server was very friendly and informative. We only had appetizers so that's all I can really judge them on. The deviled eggs were amazing, both kinds. The Foie Gras was just okay. I was really hoping to absolutely love it since I love Foie but the texture of theirs was just a little tough. The oysters were also delicious though. I would absolutely go back for the deviled eggs though and their bacon jam is phenomenal!

Everything was pretty great. Server was pretty good, I’m sure the loud music made it hard for her to hear us so some stuff never came to the table, which is fine. Bring a jacket, we were literally shivering we were so cold. We had the oysters Rockefeller, foie gras, steak tartare (heavy mustard flavor), (we had asked for 4 shrimp which never came, but we just ordered more for the main). For main, we had the porterhouse oscar style, Mac n cheese, cream of spinach ( my fave), and whipped potatoes. Everything is really good.

Everything was delicious! The best filet ever. The corn brûlée’, deluxe deviled eggs and Mac & cheese are top notch! Arthur was a fantastic server …we’ll be back!

The location design was awkward.
Like you enter through a door the bar is there and the host is way in the back.
You walk up to the hostess people at the bar look at you as you have to pass them
Through the narrow walkway anyway then thinking to be walked through the room next to host is your thought but actually you are wrong. ???? there is another room on the left by entrance anyway… after going to that room there is something missing like it’s a pop up restaurant and no way does it have the ambiance decor reflect the seating style. The ceiling paint was amazing.
The food was so so the steak was not as well as we expected it.
The corn brûlée was amazing
Service was amazing.
Would I go back… unfortunately no…

This has to be one of the best steak houses in the country. The service is phenomenal and amazing. The chef deserves many praises as his dishes are very good and unique. He has a very unique dish which is his cream of corn crème brûlée and it is to die for. A perfect marriage of sugar and salt that is just delicious. Their seafood is fresh. Their Rockefeller oysters are amazing. The seafood tower is completely customizable and you will not be disappointed as all their fish has flown in daily and fresh. Their steaks are fresh and very tasty. My partner and I personally have the filet mignon and they’re always cooked to perfection. Their desserts are phenomenal as well. I highly recommend their bread pudding. Their cocktail and wine selection is good I enjoy their Rockefeller drinks and lemon drop. From the moment you walk in to the moment that you leave you will have outstanding customer service. Highly recommend this local and hidden gem in the Montrose area of Houston. This is by far blows all the other steak houses in the city out of the water.
