If I could give the chefs a separate review I most definitely would. To start positively the food was wonderful. Started with the goat cheese artichoke dip and bbq shrimp. Presentation and flavor 10/10. The porterhouse for 2 AMAZING along with the lobster mac n cheese and roasted Brussel sprouts.
Time for the rest. To give some context it was my husband's 27th birthday dinner. We had a party of 4 younger black guests. When arriving at the restaurant the host was speaking with an older couple letting them know where the bar was and where they may sit while waiting for the table to be ready. Now its Our turn to check in the host acts as if my name is not listed then we are simply told we can sit and wait for the table to be ready ... nothing about the bar, and lack of attentiveness and or professionalism she spoke to us like we were her friend.
The Server .... Clear as the day she didn't want the table .... fine we move on she ask us if it was our first time we say yes then processed to not explain anything and or ask if we had questions.
we order drinks they took more than 10 mins to arrive the server not once said hey the bar is backed up or any communication to let us know that our drinks had not been forgotten
We ordered the porterhouse at medium and it came out well done and the server looked at me as if I made an error as a CHEF I can't foresee a steak house sending out a steak well done and a medium temp was requested
The horrible experience contains but I said all that to say we were referred here by someone that comes often and to have such high expectations to be let down is sad
next time togo might be better :(
THE MANGER'S "HELP" -the manager did stop by after I had asked for her... when spending $112.00 on a steak and it needs to be remade she should have stopped by the table and apologized no one apologized. The MOD that night did listen to my concerns and hoped she would turn the night around. She came back out and asked how everything looked we said fine she promised to check back in and didn't. In the end, after everything was boxed up we waited another 10 mins for our server to come back with the checks overall I am very sad about how dinner turned out!
I will say this is not the first time this has happened and the server just thought she wasn't going to get a good tip which caused her to miss out on a table of former industry workers.

The staff was wonderful and accommodating. We can’t for a birthday and the food and service did not disappoint. We ordered the sweet potato dish the was sweet and crunchy. The creamed spinach was flavorful and delicious. The mushrooms were much more savory and yummy. the steaks were cooked perfectly and the drinks were great.

Had an amazing date night and our waited Nicholaus made it that much greater. Great food and great company what more could you ask for. The Lobster Mac was hands down the best Mac I've ever eaten. The Cowboy Ribeye will make you regret any other steak selection and to top the meal off was a very special dessert made special just for us. Thanks again for an incredible experience.

I surprised my hubby with a birthday dinner. He loved it. The steaks were exquisite and the sides we chose were sweet potato casserole and potatoes au gratin. Everything was so good. Even the drinks... which you'll see in the photos. Due to our investment in enjoying our night I did neglect to get any really good photos of food. I did take video and tried to get some clips from that. Ruth's Chris is known for its fine dining experience, perfectly served steaks (cooked to order) and good drinks. Enjoy your time here, you won't have a choice.

Ambiance - upon walking in, the place is lovely. The Jacor is a little dated, but everything is clean and welcoming.
Service - Our waiter Derrick went above and beyond with his service. He was friendly, helpful and just a joy to have wait on us.
Cocktail - The Raspberry Manhattan is a smooth, delicious drink. It goes down so easy you won’t even realize it.
Appetizer - The Caesar salad Had the perfect flavor to it. I hate when salads overdressed, but this one was perfect.
Entree - when you go to a steakhouse, you have to get a nice cut of steak. We tried the Filet with a blue cheese crust and the Bone in Filet and both were tender, flavorful, and came out sizzling on that 500° plate. These steaks do not need anything on them. While it was good, next time I probably won’t get the blue cheese crust because it really didn’t need it.
Sides - We had the Lobster Mac and cheese, Potatoes Au Gratin, Roasted brussel sprouts, and loaded sweet potato. Yum yum and more yum. The potatoes all grotten and the loaded sweet potato I could eat every single day of my life and be totally happy. The brussels sprouts have honey on them and that little tinge of sweetness was perfection.
Dessert - We had the chocolate sin cake & classic cheesecake. I love a good flourless chocolate cake, but that cheesecake that my husband ordered was absolutely amazing. My favorite part of a cheesecake is always a graham cracker crust and this one was awesome because it had graham cracker crust all the way around your own mini cheesecake. So dang good.
There was honestly not a bad thing that we had there. Every single item we ordered I would order again in a heartbeat. I did hear from the waiter that the bone in New York strip was his favorite cut of beef, so I might try that one next time.

Second visit to Ruth's Chris. Wife and I went for our 15th anniversary. Made reservations in advanced. Arrived shortly before reservation time and only waited about 3 minutes to be seated.
Table was decorated nicely for our anniversary.
They have a special menu going on for a short time. You get an entree, side, and personal desert for $55.00. The $55 option is a 6oz filet, 3 shrimp, and a choice of either garlic mashed potatoes or creamed spinach.
You can upgrade to a ribeye as I did for an extra $24. And I was able to get a baked potato for yet another $5.
Based on my first visit I asked that my steak come on a warm plate vs the 500° one. The steaks were cooked perfectly.
My ribeye wasn't as tender as I would have expected from a 'prime' cut that costs that much. Not much marbling either. It was good, but to be honest, I've had better ribeye that I purchased at Sam's club and cooked myself.
And paying an extra $5 to 'upgrade' to a baked potato was a bit much. If you look at the normal menu a baked potato is actually $1.50 Cheaper than garlic mashed. Plus for $5 you could buy a whole bag of baked potatoes.
Yes, I understand, it's a 'fancy' restaurant but still.
The service was a touch slow but everyone was very nice.

Pretty great experience overall all. The food was good. My steak did come out a bit undercooked however it was taken back and cooked very well. It was pretty busy however all the waiters were very accommodating to the party.

*40th Wedding Anniversary Celebration* We had selected several restaurant party venues to tour & they were okay…the last we visited was Ruth’s Chris. From the first meeting until we left that evening after the party — everything has been perfect. We invited 30-guests (family & friends) && each one has reached out to us to tell us it was the best party they have been to in a restaurant setting. We were allowed to decorate & we also had our cake brought in - same bakery which had make our wedding cake/groom’s cake. We had visited the restaurant the week before to select our wines (with Manager, Emily) and check out the Blue Dog room beforehand…Rodrique is a favorite of ours. They made a menu for everyone - including the wines. We selected the salad for all, then each guest selected their entree & the Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Steamed Broccoli were served ‘family style’. We were served (for an appetizer) skewers with cherry tomatoes & mozzarella + balsamic vinegar drizzled on top + their delicious bread. Our personal servers, Jose & Alexis were amazing! They took such great care of each guest! We recommend - if you are looking for a venue for a group party…to consider Ruth’s Chris! Their Management Staff - including Emily & Randy made the event hassle-free for us…we were just able to enjoy the evening!
