We had reservations for my birthday dinner. They called to confirm my reservation and who was celebrating a birthday. This is the best steak I've ever had. The vibe from the moment you walk in is everything. The hostess are always so friendly. The waitress knows the menu from front to back. She had so much knowledge on everything. The manager stopped by and the gave me a birthday card (very thoughtful). Steak was perfect and i topped it was lobster. So damn good. My dessert was free, which was very nice of the restaurant. Everything was delicious, if I would recommend a steak location... Steak 48 is my top pick. They even called to check how your service was after your visit.

This was the best dining experience I have ever had at a restaurant in my life and I have ate at many fine dining establishments. I want to tip my hat off to the best waiter I have ever encountered which is Megan (Meg)! She was very attentive, made excellent recommendations and made my birthday even more special with her five star treatment. The food was amazing and flavorful, the ambiance was perfect. I can’t say much more than just go!! Excellent place to celebrate a special occasion and you will be treated like royalty!!!

Steak 48 is a must go to Restaurant in the Gallery Houston Area. The atmosphere is so inviting, professional staff, nice dim romantic lights, decor of the restaurant is astonishing. We had a company meeting, and the waiters were great. I had the well done steak, season just right, potatoes and creamed corn with a honey glaze was so delicious and of course a glass of Moscato. If you're flying in for a meeting make sure you take time to visit this place. The spicy shrimp left a taste of I gotta have more. It was the fist appetizer. Desert was pound cake with vanilla ice cream with praline pecans. Yummy

I was impressed with the impeccable service and delicious food from Streak 48! We enjoyed some friend lobster tail and the braised pork bell. Phenomenal! The best pork belly I have ever eaten. I ordered a filet and My steak was more on the mid-rare side than the medium, not to the point of sending it back but I would have enjoyed it fully had it been prepared to my liking. The red velvet cake bread pudding was a great ending to a great meal. Great vibe at this restaurant.

Definitely considered a top steakhouse ! Service , quality and selection is quite good and to be expected. We did some seafood, appetizers, nice wine and steak across the table. Bread is on the house. Sauces for the seafood and steak sides were all quite good. Mushroom and corn! Truffles fries are always a hit. I'd be back to try other cuts! Enjoyed it! Thanks team !

My absolute favorite restaurant in Houston!!!! Excellent experience every time. Absolutely delicious food… every item on the menu!!! The best oysters selection in town! Extensive cocktail and wine menu makes everything even better! Ambiance is beautiful, modern and vibrant. Would love it even more if they would enforce the dress code little better.

This place is incredible. From the food to the service. I made reservations for our anniversary they greeted us and took us to the back passing the kitchen and to a more private room. There they set us and received us with a note congratulating us on our anniversary. We had the pork belly which was delicious. Had some drinks highly recommend the old fashions. After that we decided to go to the bar which was a lot of fun. Nonetheless it was a great experience will be returning and I highly recommend it. Before I finish I was sitting in my living room the following day and a host from steak 48 call to ask how was our experience the night before, something I hadn’t experienced from any other restaurant and I though it was a nice gesture and shows how much they care for their customer service. Highly recommended for a special occasion and/or great company.

Took my husband and daughter there for their birthday. The pork belly was to die for. Awesome. Didn't really care for the calamari. The steaks were very good. Mac and cheese was also awesome. Very romantic atmosphere. Will return. A little pricey but well worth it.

Always a great experience at Steak 48. Our server Johnson and his team did a great job taking care of our party of 8 last night. Everyone is always very attentive and professional. Great added touch by management reaching out this morning to ensure our visit was exceptional. Will definitely return and recommend.

Steak 48 is my favorite restaurant ! I love that they have shareable sides!! I would 100 recommend getting reservations vs just showing up! This isn’t my first time here but first time reviewing ! We came to celebrate my sister in laws birthday and they had a custom birthday card for her! We all enjoyed our steak! We ordered crispy shrimp as an appetizer and the bread Was flowing ! I love that they aren’t stingy with the bread. That’s important! Service was amazing, the steak was amazing of course, I haven’t been upstairs before until this time. This was cool to see the baker baking bread! Yeah it’s the transparency that gets me here!
