We came a lil late, so they weren't serving alcohol. Place was busy, good atmosphere, quick service... great guac! What can I say?

Nice people and all. But this was 42 bucks.. a margarita to go and a taco dinner. I know food prices are out of control, but this seems egregious. 16 bucks for this margarita to go.. bummer.

We came out here from an hour away since we came to the bears fest! We came to eat here because years ago we liked the tacos and the prices WERE reasonable, not Anymore!!!!
The prices are super high, we should have waiting to go back to Waukegan where the tacos will not be 4.50 each, or a taco dinner for 17.95 wow thats expensive! We know where not to come anymore, The tacos are okay but not 4.50 quality!! It was eh ok!

Food isn’t bad, but it’s not great. Prices are way too high for the quality, and higher than most Mexican restaurants in the area. I know everyone is hurting with inflation but I feel like you risk pricing yourself out if customers don’t think it’s worth it, which I no longer do. Also given how watered down the salsa was and how stale the chips are, it’s straight up offensive those are no longer complimentary

I have been eating here for years and the quality has not declined. The chorizo Gordita is so filling. I got two and ate the other one the following day. This is my favorite after hours spot. So good.

Drove 45 mins to get here at 1am. I had the Costillas en BBQ. Service & food was good. I will not complained about the pricing on the menu because anywhere you go....prices of food is expensive now whether if it's at a restaurant or grocery store.

Had the taco dinner, onions and cilantro. Tasted good. $15 for 3 tacos with rice and beans, considering the times, it was fair. Paid with card but unfortunately only accepted cash tip. ATM is in the facility, but with those atm fees. Pain.

you pay a lot for so little food...the menus have one price and in the end it's another...they even sell you the tortillas...and the waitresses, two in particular, who look like sisters, you can't ask for something because they ignore you...

Used to be a really good spot to eat at. It’s been a couples years since I’ve been back, but they used to give bigger portions sizes. They made the portions smaller and upped their prices way too high. Beware that the prices on their menu aren’t accurate. I ordered a dinner plate thinking I’ll pay the price it has on their menu, but when we got the bill it was higher. Also they’re charging for chips and salsa which sucks and haven’t seen that before at other Mexican food joints. The food itself is still good, but that’s about it.
