Consistently great food and great people. Fish & Chips, salads, tacos are all great options.
Unfortunately, their frying for cod has been very overdone the last few weeks, which loses a star here. Can bump back up to 5 once this is fixed.

Great service and presentation.
$34 was a bit steep for the lobster roll, considering the lower quantity of meat compared to local competitors. While I liked the spices used in the roll, they overpowered the natural flavors of the lobster. It still tasted great, though.
Parmesan flaked on the tots was genius. I did leave full.
The black iced tea was quite well-made. I'll go back to try a different item on the menu, considering the rest of their offerings are much more reasonably priced.

By far my favorite seafood restaurant in Chicago. The crispy cod salad is excellent, particularly when paired with the parmesan truffle tater tots. I recently visited with my friends, and everyone was extremely delighted with their meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is also lovely, with a rustic, nautical vibe that makes the place feel very cozy and inviting.

Specials: Grilled shrimp over Cobb salad is delicious! Lobster Roll is fresh! Good portion size. Clam chowder is very thick! Nice and casual vibe. Great hangout place just to catch the breeze and a nice view of the city skyline across the street from Millennium Park.

Fresh, fast service and delicious. I ordered the Lobster Roll with Truffle Parm Tots and my wife got the salmon with greens and grains and we were both thoroughly delighted and satisfied with our meals. Highly recommend.

Had the lobster roll its amazing and do yourself thr favor and buy it. Tots came with it, super crispy and delicious. We also had the shrimp tacos, ya freaking amazing. 10/10 I'd try it again.

My coworker had been raving about this lobster roll and the reviews were great too. Personally I was disappointed for the price. They give you a lot of lobster, but the bread was SOAKED in butter. So much so, that it made me sick after a few bites. I initially thought it may have been bad lobster, but when I later ate the lobster off the top I didn’t feel sick like before. I lifted the bread and it was HEAVY, just filled with all the butter/oil. Also the tater tots must have been fried in old oil because they had a bitter after taste. I really wanted to enjoy it, and it looked so good. The staff was nice though, so it’s too bad :(

I stumbled upon this place while walking around downtown with my friend.
The food was incredibly fresh. We ordered the codfish with a side of crispy shrimp. We also ordered the daily catch tacos.
It’s easy to make seafood bland and overcooked but the food here was perfectly seasoned. Finger licking good! ????

I randomly searched for a fish restaurant and found Brown Bag Seafood. We greeted by an employee as soon as we walked in. Interior design is unique and fun.When I got my food I kind a worried about the taste but I was very surprised . Their spicy cauliflower side dish was very delicious , garlic bread could have been my addiction if I have lived in this area. I just loved the atmosphere , full healthy menu ,happy and friendly employees and the view of the restaurant. I am looking forward to visiting this place again to try their other healthy,delicious food.
