Thus place was very good. You build your own custom burger. They have a wide variety of seasonings for the burgers and a good selection of toppings. I had a bison burger and a vanilla custard shake. As delicious as the food was, I think it's a bit overpriced. However, it is still a very good place to eat. If you don't mind paying a bit more than it's worth, you will have a great meal here.

We really enjoyed it. Our waiter was very helpful, he had great advice/suggestions for our menu questions. I had a burger which was cooked really nicely and had great flavor. I also had to try the beer based cheddar soup. The soup was amazing, it had such a nice flavor that I wished I had ordered a larger portion. The fries... Wow, the fries do not disappoint either, as I was wishing I had more when I was done. They have a great beer selection as well. My advice is to go, but bring a big appetite.

Hands down the best burger I've ever had, Period. And I've been to many burger places over the years and I've tried many different kinds but this place is the pinnacle of burger spots. Aside from their friendly helpful staff and impressively fast service the burgers are the crown jewel of what makes the spot so great. The high quality of the meat is undeniable and it is very apparent with the first bite. Medium rare is a must to enjoy the full flavor of the meat. They also have so many choices of how you can create customize your own burger and also let you purchase the meat patties to take home with you and that is definitely a huge plus to this place. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know and will definitely be coming back.

I'm Back! Butcher & The Burger is still worth the 5 hour trip from MPLS! I told my folks that I didn't need teeth to devour my burger. The restaurant is clean and always well staffed. The cashier was helpful and knew how to handle any newbie with the menu. I knew what I wanted so I was all good. I will be back. I promise! My burger: Split Top Bun, Duck Egg, Grilled Mushroom's, Caramelized Onions, Pepper Jack Cheese, Cajun Spice Blend, House Blend Ground Beef, and Truffle Mayo. cost with fries and unsweetened tea was $30.

My niece and I stayed in a beautiful condo two blocks from this restaurant. For dinner, we ordered online, walked down to the restaurant, and picked it up.
You can choose from the burgers combinations The Butcher and The Burger offers or you can design your own. I had my burger with a "lettuce" bun. This allowed me to try the homemade potato chips and house French fries my niece and I shared. I also got a spinach salad. I loved everything but the bacon which was a little too smoky for my taste....what I read about the bacon is that it is a specialty bacon.
Though the restaurant is small and has limited seating, there was room for people to find seats for dinner.
This was a good place for burgers and fries. They also have custard and milk shakes, but we knew we would be too full after the burgers and potatoes to have the custard. If you are looking for comfort food....this may be your place.

We were really hoping to love this place but just didn’t hit the nail in the market.
1. The salmon burger was dryyyyyyy. Like almost eating wallpaper. I kept thinking each bite would be better. The wheat bun was a little ste and not slight cooked on both side like a proper burger establishment which charge almost $20 for a burger. Also I thought my cheese was missing, but turn makes out it was just a teeny tiny sliver that’s barely there.
2. The turkey burger was very burnt and hard to chew. The croissant bread was at least cooked on both sides and added points for that. No honey mustard sadly.
3. The beignets.???? another miss it was not even done on the inside. Pictures attached. I had enough dough to roll it up and then fry it. What you see us RAW dough.
4. Fries were OK . Not extraordinary. I’m glad they weren’t salty. Just standard but nothing to really write home about.
With the reviews and the local aspect we really hope this would be it.. but it wasn’t. Lots of $$ down the drain.

I was able to customize and build my own burger and it came out fresh, tasty and just delicious. I am giving four starts because employees could be more nicer and more welcoming. The lady who was taking my order got impatient when I was asking questions. I shared it was my first time there. Then, she gave me a flyer so I could move to the side and find information on my own even though there weren’t customers behind me. She barely tried to engage and only focused on taking the order. Other than that experience, burgers are a must try.

The ideal customized burger for your buck. Superb lighting, friendly staff, diner-styled seating and a lengthy affordable menu. Stop by if you’re in the area, a block away from the Armitage brown line station.

Been making a conscious effect to support more local businesses instead of supporting chain restaurants. I wanted I good burger , so I decided to check this place out.
This restaurant has some of the BEST FRIES THAT IVE EVER HAD & the garlic pickle is to die for!!!!!
The burger and lemonade was also AMAZING!!!! Skip Five guys, Epic Burger , and McDonald’s and come straight to Butcher & the burger ???? !

One of the best burgers I have ever had, the importance is the meat quality and the chargrill flavor, this place nailed it. I like the serving style as well l, everything on a chopping board including the ice creame. The menu is not too huge and you won't have difficulties choosing, but whatever you choose you can't go wrong, including the Lentils burger.

One of the best vegan burgers that I've ever had! They don't have much vegan options, most of the add-ons and sauces have dairy ingredients but the ones available won't disappoint you. The patty had a really nice crust on the outside and was not mushy like most bean-based patties. It would be wonderful to see gluten-free bun as an option, I had to eat in a lettuce bun but still wasn't bad. The staff is super friendly and care about your experience!

Friendly service and delicious build your own burgers. The fries are thick and have a good portion. I did salt and pepper grass fed beef with a pretzel bun, truffle mayo, Swiss, caramelized onions and pickles. It was bomb. Next time will try the spice blends!
