Went on a week night to try something new in Edison Park. Close to the train station to head there straight after work. Food was fine. Grabbed the steak tartar to start and definitely left much to the imagination. It was more room temp than expected and definitely didn't have the taste that I expected. Had to send it back.
Boeuf Bourguignon was much better well paired with the wine, but not amazing. Overall service was above average for a weeknight which was its saving grace but won't be back. It’s weird when you aren’t offered a glass of water more than once and you’re there for an hour. If I'm paying over $100 for a dinner for two, I'll look for a better place next time.

Went here for a baby shower and had a delightful time. First time at this resturant and everything served was good! Great service! We were packed in a little tightly but that was about the only negative. The resturant and washrooms were clean.
The decor was simple but tasteful. Will come back again with the family.

Stopped in for brunch while running errands and was pleasantly surprised. We sat on the patio which is big and tucked on the quiet side of the corner they are on which is great. The Chilaquiles were great and would definitely visit again while in Edison Park!

La vie est belle!!!! Translation, Life is beautiful!!!!
Nothing is better than escaping your daily routine to enjoy Café Touché. From the their: cocktails, apps, entrees and my favorite dessert you'll not be disappointed. Run don't walk to Café Touché. Ask for Becky, tell her Molly sent you. Becky will transport to your escape from reality. You want suggestions or guidance on anything on the menu Becky is there to walk you through the best one's to tackle. Enjoy your time and feel even better that no airfare was spent going to Café Touché.

Been here twice and the menu has changed but the food overall is really good. Great ambiance - feels like a Cafe in France. Wait staff is always nice and attentive. Would definitely recommend checking out

Had brunch here today, and as a celiac, I am always a bit hesitant trying new places. I was very pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were. I has the poulet paillard, and even several hours later, not a but of reaction. Highly recommend. Food is delicious, service excellent.

Good atmosphere. Food was super. Had 4 folks in party, all enjoyed their selections. Valet parking was most convenient since a busy area. Shared to different desserts and were totally delicious. Wait staff was friendly and appropriately attentive. Will be going back soon.

We had a great time here! The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The portions were relatively large, which was unexpected but exciting. Everything from appetizer to dessert created a memorable experience. Although it was in the colder months during our visit, it looked like they open up the restaurant in the summer and spread out seating into the street. I’d recommend this to anyone!

After reading the reviews and receiving only 4 stars on Yelp, I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely our experience was overall. Despite the fact that we were placed in a weird area of the dining space, the service and food exceeded our expectations.
We recently enjoyed a small birthday party at Cafe Touché. We were so excited by the menu with all the wonderful French Dishes.
Starting off our evening we ordered the Nina Rose and Mojito (off the menu) and made specially for our Birthday Girl! Nice! The drinks were nice but not mind blowing as the flavors were quite muted.
For Appetizers, we ordered the Escargot, which surprisingly doesn’t come with a shell, the Fritto Misto wasn’t anything spectacular but fried nicely, and the Vol Au Vant. The Vol Au Vant was by far the stand out of the appetizers with the creamy sauce and tender chicken bits. Our only criticism is that the dish didn’t have more quantity. The free bread they provided was nice and paired well with this cream sauce and a mixture of the garlic butter from the Escargot.
For mains, we shared the Cordon Bleu, Jambalaya, Joule Au Vin and Bolognese. The Cordon Bleu chicken was tender and the sauce was nice. The Jambalaya was also made well with jumbo shrimp and slightly spicy andouille sausage. The Braised beef cheeks were nice but the reduction was a little over-reduced and the Bolognese pasta was perfectly al dente.
Our server was so lovely the entire evening. I believe her name was Paris, super attentive and very welcoming! We also received a lovely dessert as a birthday gift!
We would definitely recommend as a nice place outside of the city of Chicago to check out! Great for lunch, brunch and dinner and they even have outdoor seating which is awesome!
