It’s new with a few kinks to work out.
The food is good but average.Service good and very friendly. Presentation ordinary.Went for lunch and ended up with a bill of almost $150.00.Menu pricing not for the faint hearted.Thats lunch for two.
Parking metered on street difficult.Pricey garage across the street.
Nondescript location.
The interior decor is clean ,new ,contemporary and intimate.
I liked it but not well enough to return.

Diamond Hook was a SUPERB experience. I have been wanting to visit Diamond Hook for a while now and our experience was amazing. We had the lobster rolls, brussel sprouts, and the catch of the day which was a halibut. Foods and drinks taste good. Pedro, our server, was FANTASTIC. He was attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Overall, I would recommend Diamond Hook to those who are seafood lovers! They also have non seafood options. Enjoy!

I have been to this place at least 4 times, but brunch and dinner. The atmosphere is great, the staff is always very nice, and the food is AMAZING. The lobster roll and the short rib are especially good. I also could eat 5 orders of the buffalo shrimp

Fantastic seafood spot in Chicago!! Delicious, fresh food and drinks. But the best thing about this place is their service quality... every customer is treated like royalty as soon as they walk through the door. Can't wait to return!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely incredible meal @ Diamond Hook. The neighborhood is lucky to have a place like this. The service is fantastic. From appetizers to desserts….everything is amazingly delicious!!!

Just WOW!! This neighborhood has needed a restaurant like this for too long. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We had the chopped salad, the crab cake, lobster roll, and sea bass. Everything was perfect. I’m not even usually a big fan of lobster rolls, but this one was exceptional. The lobster was not over cooked or blanketed in too much mayo the most I’ve had are.
I can’t wait to go back!!
Also, take advantage of the BYOB while it lasts.

I had the veggie salad and grilled seafood platter. The food was amazing! Thr server was professional and provided good menu suggestions. Also, enjoy the BYOB while it lasts. The food was so good that I returned the following week and had the same veggie salad (amazing old bay vinaigrette) and the crab stuffed shrimp, which was OUTSTANDING! The seafood quality here is very good and the service is great. I love it when I return to a restaurant and the server remembers your name. He even remembered where we sat before and offered us that same seating. Really lovely!

My family has been here a few times now, and the food is absolutely delicious. Sort of feels like downtown quality food in a neighborhood location. Most recently, we tried the brunch yesterday morning (Saturday). We ordered more than everyone could eat, because everything on the menu sounded so good. It did not disappoint. Everything was tasty, but the short rib hash, chicken and waffles, and breakfast burrito were unbelievable. We will certainly be back again soon!

Let me begin by stating that I have nothing to do with this restaurant or it’s owner except for the fact that it is my neighborhood restaurant.
My wife and I went there for dinner and I can say for both of us that we had a phenomenal gastronomic experience. We ordered lobster bisque, Seabass, Fish sandwich, and Keylime pie. Suffice it to say that I now have a downtown level restaurant within walking distance! Quite frankly it was some of the best seafood experience we’ve had in Chicago! Keylime was definitely better than some of the best downtown restaurants I’ve tried.
Highly recommend trying it out and supporting them.

Had the cutest birthday lunch here with the hubby. Staff was so nice, everything was clean and stylish, and the menu is great. We went with the boneless pork milanese and the fish tacos. They even surprised us with key lime pie - the crust is incredible! Will be coming back soon with friends ????
