Great sushi and had our order ready early

Just tried to get a food in this place. Was confused about the other place connected. Asked the guy at front desk, if it is connected or how it works. We got super arrogant answer, to decide where we wanna eat, that we came to this place, so get the table and go sit down. I was definitely not in a mood to eat there at all. So we just left. Very bad first impression, if a hostess is this rude.

Just incredie food and service with such a bomb dance track playing. Cocktails were better than many high end bars I've been at

Really good food but I was there wednesday july 6th and I didn't see another customer in there when I first went in and so I thought, cool probably going to be fast. I ordered 4 pieces of salmon nigiri and 2 rolls, it took a weirdly long amount of time and I started getting frustrated but shrugged it off but now looking back it's weird how long it took for the food to get out.

Delicious sushi. Some of the best Maki around. I am fully on board with giving this restaurant a thousand stars. From the food to the service, even the music was fantastic, Friends has something for everyone. This is my number 1 sushi restaurant in the entire country.

Ordered takeout at night and was very disappointed. The order was almost entirely messed up. The wrong rolls were included and it seemed like they just threw in a bunch of rolls they had on hand. Not sure what they were thinking. Thankfully they corrected part of the order, but it involved multiple unnecessary trips back and forth to the restaurant. The food itself was good, which is the reason for the two stars.
Maybe dine in is a different experience but I would not recommend takeout.

Everything about the meal was wonderful. Great food made with love. Highly recommend the Yuzu Drop! Awesome Restaurant Week experience.

Worst sashimi I’ve ever had. But good dessert. Maki was below average for downtown. Lots of better places you can go to for the same or better price.

It's good but you can better options easily. It has a unique vibe and the quality is good. If you got don't care about money then by all means go here and enjoy yourselves. It's not for me but there is nothing wrong with this place considering the location. My only personal criticism is they need to cut down on cream cheese options in sushi and allow more variety of actual sushi.

Had the best time trying their sushi set , eating uni, salmon roe , and wagyu roll!
@midwestmunching on Instagram if you'd like to follow!
You can clearly see the quality of their fish and how fresh it is. I remember eyeing the uni like no other, it's topped to the max on the sushi rice ????. Making that one bite even more amazing!
????Topping nigiri sushi set for $36 includes 7 nigiris & a miso soup:
????Tuna with caviar
????Hamachi with truffle
????Salmon with marinated lemon
????Madai with kizami wasabi
????Albacore with crunchy garlic chili oil & scallion
????Seared salmon with marinated lemon ????,. Pickle scallion mixed with kizami, & yuzu paste ????
Each nigiri has a topping and unique take to it, My favorite was the tuna and salmon, super fatty , fresh, yet simple & tasty.
????????The wagyu roll was a definitely a surprise. Comes with spicy crab ????, asparagus, cucumber, topped with a seared wagyu,. Truffle, pickles scallions with kizami,. Yuzu paste, chives & unagi sauce.
Sometimes I wish I can find wagyu everywhere and have it everyday ????
Overall this came to $100 which was awesome! And got the green tea and chocolate mochi ice cream as well in the end
What's your favorite sushi?

Menu felt a bit limited but overall good. Really enjoy the location on Rush and the options there. The ambiance was interesting and funky.
Was a bit confused as the server said the sushi rice had gluten in it, but also confirmed there was nothing added in with gluten. Would definitely encourage anyone with dietary restrictions to ask more questions to confirm!

Absolutely loved their takoyaki and ebi katsu bowl. The ramen was light and hearty - usually like big bold flavors, but Friends ramen is still good. Small portions are great if you want to try a little bit of everything. The food came out very quick and the service was efficient and friendly. Would come back!

This spot was just okay. The service was good but the food was just average and the wine was cheap. I would not go back.

Good sushi. Staff is very friendly. Cute ambience. Very cozy in the front by the windows. My favorite roll was the Tokyo Sunset. It has mango and slivered almonds on it. It has a nice little kick to it.
They play good music and have Japanese TV shows on. Overall, I liked Friends Sushi.
