I don’t come to Chicago unless I come here service is sometimes slow …. WHO cares !!!! Just provide me a blanket I’m happy to sleep in the parking lot !!!! God bless you always thank you for Great Bbq comfort food great sides and The Sauce !!!!! You all are Amazing keep it coming ????

Thought to give them a chance since they were able to stay open after all of these years but these by far were the worst rib tips I ever ate. I couldn’t even call that a sauced up turkey tail because even turkey tails have more meat than that.

Driving from Lake County to the south side for A slab of Ribs Ribtips and hot link paying $68 for dried out food such a disappointment! Call and you can’t even get a answer horrible

On memorial day i purchased 2 large link/tip combo's at about 8 o'clock, they close at 9. I got home and 1 order had no links and of course it was too late to go back. I called the next day to speak with a manager and he pretty much told me that there was no way to look up my order and I had already thrown away my receipt because I didn't anticipate my order being incomplete. He refused to give me the 2 links that I paid for because I had no proof. If I actually wanted to lie about some links I could show him a receipt, lie and say I didn't get any links. ????????????♀️ I just don't see the point in that. The rib tips were trash ???? btw. Very tough! Years ago there would be a long line and now there's no line, no wait. That's how you know their food is trash. If you patronize with them, be sure to check your food because they'll have you paying, don't fulfill your order, then make you prove to them that you actually paid. ????????????♀️
Whoever prepares the orders is clearly halfway reading the tickets and doesn't pay attention to detail.

Got the mini tip and wing combo. The wings were awesome despite being a little small.
The tips were dry and over cooked. My dog got those and is now sleeping like a drunk uncle after the 4th of July.

This place used to be very good IDK what happened, But 2days ago I was in the mood for turkey tips so I called in and ordered my food went to get it, and when I got home I was ready to smash my food.. after 2 piece I had to take a closer look at what the hell I was eating because it wasn't turkey tips. So as I look at the pieces of meat it was actually all fatty turkey tails.. smh this is ridiculous for this place to sale turkey tails as turkey tips they are not the same cut of meat from the turkey. The tails literally has no meat and 95% fat. And my large order of fires was stale and I didn't have any bread lol, man I wanted to take my food back but I was already home so I gave the food to my dog. This place as went down hills and they have lost a once long supporting customer. I wont be back

I was there a week ago and paid $20 for the worst order of rib tips I've had in my life! The tips were cut up chunks of turkey tails...I use the smoked turkey tails in my greens and beans. The tips were pieces of bone with gristle and fat with very little meat. I will never go there again! I only gave the one star because I had to choose a star in order to write and post a review.

I57 Smoke House has been through several name changes over the years, but it constantly has some of the south sides best BBQ. The goal of all pitmasters is consistency. Making great food day in and day out no matter what is difficult for even the most seasoned smoke master. Smoke House gets it right more times than not. This is a classic neighborhood BBQ joint with all the circuses you imagine. From the crowded parking lot shared with a Tavern to colorful clientele. In a word, I love it.

Buyer beware. Bought what I thought was turkey tips last night from this place. Round trip was 40 miles AND spent 23 bucks on 2 links and tails. Links were fine...it was the tails that threw me off. Amazed that they are selling tails and calling them tips, the cheapest part of the turkey and over charging customers for basically scraps. Will never go back. They should change their menu from Turkey Tips to Turkey Tails so customers at least know what they are buying and have a choice.

$17 for a large box of rocks with sauce. Absolutely horrible rib tips. It's tough meat with sauce . The fries were hard and coveerd with sauce. The chicken wings were well seasoned and actually good. Very disappointed. Is very difficult finding good barbecue but I felt like this was a scam.

I think I gave a bad report to the wrong I57 rib house, my report was meant for this (I57 smoke house.) I am so sorry but I was so upset. I was there this afternoon and the service was lousy. I ordered 2 rib tip/hot link combos. I took the food to the car and checked it. The fries were old, cold and hard. I took the food back inside and complained and the young man said to me that the fries were fresh because he just cooked them, he did not even attempt to look at the food and asked me what I wanted. I said that I wanted some freshly fried fries. He said that they would be the same and asked if I wanted my money back. I was so dumbfounded that I just walked out. I should have taken my money back because when I got home the ribs were mostly bones and old and tough. I use to give good referrals to my friends and would take buckets of ribs with me to San Antonio Tx each year. Never again, I am through with this rib joint!!!!

The turkey tip and turkey link combo is what I ordered and a large one. I was so upset I wanted to take my order back, I thought turkey tips were the breast cut into tips not the tail of the turkey which is nothing but fat. I will not eat there again such a waste for 25 dollars. The photo shows turkey tails cut to look like turkey tips which should be meat not fat. I-57 smoke house you should be ashame of yourself charging for fat!!????????????
