Only the Nashville hot chicken is good, though expensive

Solid pulled pork sandwich. Location is great with beers from a number of local craft breweries available.

The pulled pork and tri tip is fantastic all their sauces are great I like the smoky and spicy and the ivory sauce w my fried pickles... Their Mac and cheese is really good as well

Food is great. Missing the charm and service of the original wicker park location. Sauce packets are not acceptable.

Came here to eat, closed the kitchen at 6:15pm as we got here on a Saturday... For 45 minutes. Who does that? Beer was notably bad too

The kitchen of District Brewyard known chiefly for their chicken. It was a mixed experience for us. While the Fried chicken sandwich (Nashville Hot) was pretty good with a crunchy patty complemented by some savory slaw, the smoky wings (buffalo sauced) were way too salty. Place has a good vibe. Would probably have given another star if this was review for the brewery.

I would NOT recommend. This is NOT authentic BBQ. I ordered the brisket and the pulled pork. While the quality of meat is good, the meat is NOT smoked. I did not taste ANY smoke flavor either liquid or authentic. The meat did not have a ring.
I enjoy the roasted meat, but this is NOT BBQ by my southern standards.
I have 2/5 stars because the western NC sauce and pickles were good.

A random guy picking up his order said to get the smoked wings. And I can confirm that this guy was right. This wouldn't be my typical choice at a BBQ place, but these wings are fantastic.

If you are in the area this is a must try. The food is amazing. Try the wings and Mac and cheese. The staff was great at helping us select food and explaining all the sauces.

The food was delicious. They have happy hour food and beer specials. Plus daily food specials. I got the chicken wings w/side of mac n cheese. My husband got the brisket poor boy, mac n cheese, and Cole slaw. Big portions, we had left overs. They take reservations, we didn't make any and were able to get seated right away on a Friday night. It got busier as the night went on. Friendly server, explained all the different bbq sauces on the table and what they would be good with. Street parking can be hard to find.

Ribs are good. Pork are a bit dry, fries are good. Best sauce would be the smoky and hot smoky if you want a kick of spiciness on your bbq. A bit pricy for the portion.

Delicious BBQ! Everything we ordered was awesome! Beef Brisket, Pulled pork sandwiches, Tri Tip , and ribs with sides offried, mac & cheese & their Grits were especially amazing with fresh bacon on top!! Nice outdoor patio seating, and their bar area is also very nice!! They make all their own bbq sauces and slow bbq all their meats!! Nice selection of micro brews on tap and in bottles. I had a craft margarita which was delicious!! Great waitstaff too!! I will be back!!

I can’t say I’ve been to every bbq joint in Chicago but this is by far the favorite I have tried and I see no reason to look elsewhere. My standby is the tri tip sandwich southern style. Can’t go wrong with that. Nice Mac and cheese side but I usually go for the fries and slather through a few selections from the half dozen house made sauces on every table. Giant short rib special is a treat if you can get it.

Cool dining room for bbq. Moon shine bloody mary had that heat in the back of my lungs lol. Ribs n chicken was a bit dry. All sauces taste of heavy vinegar. Decent lunch but not a fan of the Q.
