Went in for my birthday lunch, and the service was excellent, as well as the food, and drinks! I had the fish taco bowl, which was fantastic, my cousin had the crunchy beef quesarito, which I will quote her as saying "it lacked in crunch, but I ate the whole thing, so I cannot complain!" My aunt had the barbacoa burrito which she also devoured.
We also had cocktails, the margaritas were great, I did the tequila combo, and my cousin had the ranch water. We ALSO shared a très leches pie, which was excellent.
Our waiter was super nice as well, I wish I'd have caught his name.
10/10 would recommend and will return!

This was the first time visiting Lonesome Rose. It was bright, clean and not too loud. They played a variety of musical genres.
Our meals were $12-$15, then Happy hour started at 3. We got the strongest most delicious margaritas and 3 desserts. The total bill was $112 and some change. We will definitely be going back.
They also give a postcard with the check. So cute.

Definitely a hidden gem! My friend and I drove by this place one day and decided to stop for lunch. It was so good! The chips are ????and salsa ????????I got the tacos and the fried chicken and vegan bean were my fave!

I liked two items out of everything my friend and I ordered. The fish and chicken taco are delicious but everything else was a bit disappointing. Pastor taco was way way wayyy too soggy and drippy and the meat for beef barbacoa was tough and strange. Drinks were very strong even tho tiny so if you’re looking to get plastered and have some Americanized tacos this is the place. Wouldn’t come again but would order takeout or delivery.

Is there a 6th star???
This place was so good and fun. The atmosphere was corner taco joint meets Nordstrom... I know it sounds weird but that's the vibe I got... we tried 4 of the six tacos they offered and flavors kept getting better... Ohh and next time we'll just get a pitcher of margaritas.... THEY WERE THAT GOOD!!

Lovely brunch spot. Warm and bright vibe. Went in with a group of 7 that they were able to accommodate with a res. The Bloody Mary’s and margaritas were ???????? Went for the Caesar salad and a vegan taco on the side. Nothing disappointed us!

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon and it was not too busy. It took a little while for our server to come by but once she did, she stayed on it. We had some of the tacos, empanadas and the chips. Empanadas were delicious, the steak taco was a little bland and the fried chicken taco was a hit. The Jamaica punch was very good: was just too little of it.

The place looks really plain outside that is why I did not expect the interior would be that beautiful. I was honestly surprised to see the inside and its lovely and simple interior with a very nice and atmosphere and vibe. They also have a cool rooftop but we chose to dine in inside for better experience. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. It was our first time and the staff who is so nice to introduce us to their menu. Their menu is just basically an option of different Mexican foods. Service is definitely good and it is fast too. It did not take long and our food was served. My friend and I shared with their guacamole and chips which is good but not something spectacular. We also had lonesome vegetarian burrito for each of us and it was seriously so good. I definitely like their vegetarian burrito and I will definitely order it again. If you are looking for a good spot in Logan Square, I highly recommend this place. They are definitely one of the best restaurants in Logan Square. I cannot wait to go back!

UPDATE: The past two times I've ordered chips & queso, it has been spicier than previous times. Still good, but I preferred the more mild, previous version.
Favorite queso dip in Chicago! They have delicious food, a great ambiance, and very friendly staff. Their rooftop patio is really nice too!
Their margaritas are delicious and also SO strong! I miss their happy hours pre-pandemic, the truck stop nachos were amazing! Delicious burritos too.
One of my favorite spots overall and, as a brand designer, I appreciate everything about their branding and overall aesthetic.
Their brunch is great too! We tried their fresh-squeezed apple juice, sweet potato hash, and breakfast burrito. All were great!

????????????Lively Mexican spot in Logan square that has some delicious tacos and punchy margs and cocktails. Lots of seating options have a rooftop patio, outdoor patio, indoor tables and a bar. For $4 the Crispy Chicken, El Supereme, and the Vegan Tacos are a steal. We got a meal for two with a drink each under $45. Service was quick and the everyone from the host to servers were courteous and welcoming.
