I live in the neighborhood and come here often with my husband (and dog on the patio, too). The food and drinks are always delicious and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We take family and friends here when they’re in town and they’re always impressed. I highly recommend visiting, you won’t be disappointed!

A buddy recommended this restaurant while I was looking for a venue to spend my mother's birthday. It was the perfect option she said. Th e meal was excellent, and the setting was classy, according to her. She recommended it as a nice venue to celebrate a birthday. So, I decided to give it a shot. And, fortunately, the restaurant matched my expectations and did not let me down. The service was just as excellent! They have a great staffs who are always accommodating and friendly to their customers. We ordered meatballs, grilled romaine, coconut shrimp, chicken calabrese, and of course some steaks. And every single one of them is just delectable! We also ordered some cocktails, which were also good.
It was a tremendously enjoyable celebration. I intend to return, and I strongly recommend anyone who enjoys an exquisite setting with delectable cuisine to pay a visit to this resto

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my entire life. They have absolutely delicious food, and the ambiance was also excellent. Last week, my partner and I visited this place to celebrate our anniversary, and we never imagined it would be this good. S It was just the two of us, so we ordered the lemon chicken and shared the Brussels sprouts. We also ordered th e meatballs, the steak, which was absolutely excellent, and the salmon, which was, in my opinion, perfectly prepared, and were all outstanding.
My partner told me that it was a wonderful experience with excellent food. But I just don't like the fact that the tables are very close to one another. You can easily overhear the conversations at the other tables. But I think they are capable of making changes, and I hope they will take the suggestions of their customers into consideration.

I love this place! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, & comfortable. The food and drinks were excellent. Carol was our bartender/server. She was perfect! Attentive, attention to detail, she didn't miss a beat.. Even Scott, the manager made time to check on us and make sure we were satisfied and happy. A great place for a date!

We had a great meal for our first visit. Definitely will be back for more of the coconut shrimp, mushroom crostini, and chicken pasta! The steak was not as great, but that could’ve been just unlucky. Our server seemed a little out of it or overwhelmed but another server stepped up to make sure we were taken care of which we really appreciated! She was great!

Food was amazing! Great customer service, the surf and turf, octopus appetizer is something I would recommend. The atmosphere is very romantic and the have another side that’s more of a bar/chill feel. Definitely will be going back!

A Chicago favorite. Amazing service: the staff makes you feel like you’re family immediately and are so helpful with picking out the best items on the menu. Everything we ate was incredible, flavorful, and interesting. Can’t wait to be back! I’m always surprised how few people know about this restaurant.
Do not miss: the eggplant caprese, any seafood on the menu

My wife and I came here for the first time last night. Ryan took such good care of us and always had an eye on our table! The 16oz ribeye was incredible, coupled with the best brussel sprouts you’ll ever taste is the best way to go! Check out their cocktails menu you won’t be disappointed! We will most definitely be back!

AVOID. Had reservation for DINNER at 9pm on a Sat night. After a round of appetizers and drinks for our party of four, sometime before 10pm, we were asked by our server if we’d like to order anything else because the kitchen was closing. Again, we were there for dinner at a place that falsely states that their hours are 4-11 pm. We ordered another app while revisiting the menu and when server returned we attempted to place our DINNER order when server said “I told you the kitchen is closed”. I had hard time understanding why they were closing and commented that it felt as if we were being kicked out. Server indicated she’d inquire with the manager and be right back. Instead she came back with the check. Shortly after, the bar tender came to the table to say that in all of his years in the business, he has kicked out many patrons and that we’re definitely not being kicked out, and offered to serve us drinks at the bar. Not sure how or why this guy inserted himself with a solution that made no sense, but he continued to linger despite being told we were not interest in him, the bar, or his offer. We left after a heated discussion trying to avoid slipping on the freshly mopped floor, because nothing says “welcome in” more than having the floor mopped around you while trying to have DINNER. See pic of hours of operation. This is time stamped at 10:40 pm. These people run this place as if food is the only reason customers dine out. They have zero concept of what it means to be in the hospitality business. This place is boring, basic, and bland. Avoid. There are a ton great restaurants in this city, and most know how to treat and welcome guests. Mables Website is all about Mable’s —it’s full of pics of food and staff and the space. That should be a red flag, as no pics depict guests having a great night out. My favorite pic on the site is of their dining rooms full of empty tables and chairs, which is exactly how they should remain.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to come here!
Everything we had, from the oysters, to the obscenely delicious meatballs, to the cheesesteak, to the immaculately prepared prosciutto-wrapped salmon was perfect.
The drinks were excellent, and the staff was friendly and able to help us figure out the perfect things for us to taste.
We'll definitely be making regular visits to Mable's Table in the future.
